What is Electronic Age? How is it different to the New Media we have today?

The Electronic Age lasted from the 1930s until the 1980s. The transistor was the most important
invention of this era. Transistor is considered as one of the most important devices invented by humankind. It
enhanced computer progress and sped up and improved communication. And before, it was used on many
devices, making long-distance communication much more efficient.

And now we'll show you the life during the Electronic Age.

Transistor Radio – a powerful hand held devices and was used as a radio for listening to popular music. The
first transistor radio was created by Regency Division of Industrial Development Engineering Associates in
October 18, 1954.

Television – this is a device used to electronically transmit the moving images and sounds from a main source
to receiver. It has extended our capacity to talk and listen even if people are far from each other. It influenced
spread across the world and made a big difference in media and communication
