What has occurred?


ECI Software Solutions, a leader in cloud-based business management solutions headquartered in Fort
Worth, Texas, has acquired Deacom, Inc.

When will this acquisition happen?


This acquisition closed on August 31, 2021.

Why did ECI acquire Deacom?


ECI is committed to innovation and expanding our portfolio to offer customers around the world best-in-
class software to get business done more efficiently and effectively than ever. We’re glad to bring our
decades of expertise in purpose-built solutions for the manufacturing industry to benefit you and other
manufacturers like you. Together, ECI and Deacom are even better, and excited to share best practices
and increase innovation as we continue to do what we do best: support our customers as they grow
their own businesses.

How will this change affect Deacom? Will I be required to change software?
There will be no changes to the Deacom software you have come to know. You will continue to benefit
from the same solutions and the same level of support as before. Additionally, all Deacom customers
will benefit from ECI’s investments in customer experience and support infrastructure through ECI’s
Global Customer Experience Program, as well as our suite of business applications and investments in
cloud and security, among other benefits.
ECI has decades of experience helping businesses like yours succeed and is committed to making sure
the Deacom team has the resources it needs to continue to help you grow. Being part of ECI will give
Deacom even more financial stability and future growth potential so that we can continue supporting
you long into the future.

Who will run Deacom?


You will join ECI’s Manufacturing Division, led by Matt Heerey, which combined with our European
Manufacturing Division helps nearly 14,000 customers run their businesses more sustainably and
profitably.
ECI and Deacom have similar organizational structures, and over the next few months, the Deacom and
ECI teams will partner to create a smooth transition. Deacom’s COO, Scott Deakins, will become the
Deacom Business Unit Leader and report to Matt Heerey.

Whom do I call for Deacom support?


You can continue to call the same contacts that you always have. They will continue to support the
platform and will be working closely with the ECI team to ensure all your questions are answered and
needs met.

Whom do I contact to purchase additional Deacom subscriptions?


You will continue to call or email the same contact that you always have.

Will Deacom Discover 2021 still take place?


Yes! Deacom Discover will still take place as planned October 19-21, 2021. This event will be a great
opportunity to both learn how to build resiliency in your business using Deacom and meet the ECI
