TOP 1: ENERGY AUDIT REQUIREMENT BY RA 11285
Type 1 designated establishments are those with an annual energy consumption of 500,000
kilowatt-hours (kWh) to 4,000,000 kWh for the previous year; and
Type 2 designated establishments are those with an annual energy consumption of more than
4,000,000 kWh for the previous year.
Requirement: “Pursuant to item III – 6 of MC2020-05-0001, all Type 1 and Type 2 DEs shall
conduct an energy audit once every three (3) years by engaging a Certified Energy Auditor (CEA)
or an Energy Service Company (ESCO) and Submit the Energy Audit Report to the DOE upon
completion of the energy audit.

A Fire Risk Assessment is a tool to identify potential fire hazards and enable actions to be taken to
remove or reduce these hazards to as low a level as practically possible and then decide what physical
fire precautions and management arrangements are necessary to ensure people's safety. This service is a
usual requirement for multinational companies with a wide spectrum of clients to ensure that fire risk are
within the As Low As Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) status.
Prerequisite: With the recent revision for the Republic Act 9514:2008 The Fire Code of the Philippines,
