PhD programme
beginning in July 2023

Programme
Highlights
● GATE score is NOT mandatory for admission.
● Candidates are encouraged to appear for
GATE for an enhanced stipend rate.
● Travel support up to Rs 2 Lakhs for attending
international conferences.
● Support of up to $12,500 may be considered
for research at leading Universities/Labs
abroad for a period of up to 6 months.
Eligibility
Criteria
● BTech students from NITs and select colleges
who will graduate in 2023 and are among the
top 5 rank holders (General/EWS/OBC) or top 10
rank holders (SC/ST) in the department at the
end of their pre‑final year are eligible to apply.
● BTech students from IITs who will graduate in
2023 and having a CGPA/CPI not less than 6.0 at
the end of their 3rd year are eligible to apply.
