MINI TASK 1

It is alarming that many people now are being infected by

Covid-19(esp. Delta Variant), Baliwag PIO invited experts to give a
7-day series of talks (through Facebook live streaming) on covid19 and
its prevention. On the first day,55 Baliwagenos joined. Finding the talk
interesting, these 55 Baliwagenos shared the talk to other barangays and
45 more joined on the 2nd day, another 45 came on the 3rd day and so on.
Assuming that the number of participants continues to increase in the
same manner, how many Baliwagenos will there be on the 6th and 7th day?
Nearby towns heard the success of the program, and requested
Baliwag PIO to continue its program in their town, so Baliwag PIO
decided to continue it for another 7 days. As a result additional 60
participants coming from other towns joined , and additional 60 on the
next day and so on. If this pattern continues where there are 60
additional attendees for each talk coming from other towns , how many
attended the talk until the last day of the program ? Justify your answer
by showing your solution using the formula for arithmetic sequence or
arithmetic series.
