Job Responsibilities
 Guide/Supervising the daily shift operation of the power plant
 Preparation of daily and monthly reports maintain the fuel consumption & production
records.
 Responsible for safe reliable & economical operation of entire power Plant by maintaining
optimum heat rate and minimum auxiliary consumption
  Analysing plant performance and heat rate calculations, energy losses, efficiency
calculations of BOP, water treatment, drain cooler approach and suggestions for
improvement.
 Optimum usage of the fuel, water and other sources and trying to improve the overall
efficiency of the plant.
 Knowledge and experience in working in both (Boiler & Turbines).
 Safely Operation of boiler and its auxiliaries. Making sure that Operators and technicians
are not making any mistakes during the plant operation.
 Maintaining all the process parameters within the limits and trying to improve the overall
efficiency of the plant.
 Handle emergency situations of desk operation confidently & continuously monitor
parameters of desk operation.
 Shut down activities handle with carefully.
 The preparation of PTW (permit to work) system, safe isolation, personal safety and
equipment safety.

 Material reservations & Purchase requisition in SAP.

 5S program implementation.
 Giving the priority to personnel safety and machine safety for reducing unnecessary plant
down time while during the plant operations.
