CHAPTER II. The Business

This chapter discuss the topic such as name of the business, significant of the logo,

business description, mission and vision statement, business location, and lastly

types of business organization.

I. Name of the business

Dried Fish Republic created by two person which is the owner of the

business, it has a dept or/and different meaning and reason. From the word

REPUBLIC means for everyone, that everyone can buy this product not

because of being cheap but its also everyone’s favorite.

II. Significance of the Logo

An organization, brand, product, or company can be represented visually by a

logo. A logo helps to create a distinct identity

The figure 2.1 shows the logo of the business. Logo say’s a lot about the

business. The two straight line is a piece of cooking equipment where the

cooking surface consist of an open rack or grate with a heat source

underneath, in other words it is a grill. The word REPUBLIC means for

everyone. The picture inside the logo is our main product, while the chips

shape symbolizes the crispness. The brown symbolizes the color of cooked

food while the white color refers the cleanliness of production and services.

III. Business Description

Dried Fish Republic is a Sole Proprietorship business located at Purok 5

Upper Dansuli Isulan Sultan Kudarat Montoya residence near at Gonzales

farm. Salted fish has its origins in Asia as a “poor man’s food”, also known for

good for skin, healthy diet for individuals and it has certain vitamins and

minerals. Dried Fish Republic offer Sapsap, Galonggong, Danggit, Pusit, Dilis,

Pirit, Burot, Salmonete, and Goodbye Head and also offers free delivery for a

minimum order of 7-10 kilos. The kilos of the products are 180-1,000.

Dried Fish Republic open for wholesaler and retailer. The store open from

Monday to Saturday 8:00am- 4:00pm. At any time customers can dial

09557987249 or just visit our Facebook page, Instagram and Tiktok shop for

more inquiries.
IV. Mission and Vision Statement

Vision

Dried Fish Republic, aims to be the most trusted supplier of varieties of dried

fish in whole market of Region XII.

Mission

Dried Fish Republic, to provide friendly, economic and affordable products.

Gives aspiring, useful and convenient high-quality products suppliers in the

whole market of Region XII.

V. Business Location

Business location describes the actual or virtual area in which a company is

located. Choosing the right location is an important decision that can affect

the long-term success of a business.

The figure 2.2 shows the business location. Dried Fish Republic located at

Purok 5 Upper Dansuli Montoya residence near at Gonzales Farm and Cres

Garden Resort Isulan, Sultan Kudarat. The selected location would make the

Dried Fish Republic well known. If you decided to visit, you can use the map

we’ve given to find it and go to our location.

VI. Type of Business Organization

Dried Fish Republic is a Sole Proprietorship types of business entity where a

single individual owns and operates the business. The advantages are EASY

TO SET UP, it is easy and inexpensive to set up compared to other types of

business entities. COMPLETE CONTROL, the owner has complete control

over all aspects of the business, including decision making, operations and

profits. And lastly FLEXIBILTY, the owner can make quick decisions and

easily adapt to changes in the market. While the Disadvantages are

UNLIMITED LIABILITY, the owner is personally liable for all debts and legal

liabilities for the business. And also LACK OF CONTINUITY, the business

may not continue if the owner dies or becomes incapacitated since the

business is tied to the owner.


CHAPTER III. Organizational Plan

This chapter discusses the organizational chart, personnel qualification and job

description, personnel salary structure and human resource policy.

I. Organizational Chart

Organizational chart, also known as an organizational structure, is a visual

representation of the formal structure of an organization, including its various

departments, roles, and relationships. Also, to provide a clear and easily

understandable representation of the structure of an organization.

The manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the work of a team or

department. Cashier is responsible for handling financial transactions at a business.

Laborer is responsible for performing physical labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying

and moving materials. And lastly the Delivery Man o Driver is responsible for

transporting goods from one location to another.


II. Personnel Qualification and Job Description

Personnel Qualification refer to the knowledge, skills, experience, and other

attributes that a person possesses that make them suitable for a particular job

or role within an organization. This helps to ensure that work is completed

effectively and efficiently, and that employees are able to perform their duties

safely and competently.

CHAPTER IV. Production /Operation Plan

This chapter discusses the Gantt chart used to visual project management tool to

track tasks and timelines, total quality management (TQM) help to star-up and

develop the business, and distribution channel process use for distributing the

products. Operation plan provide a detailed roadmap for how the business will

operate and achieve its goals. It should be regularly reviewed and updated as

needed to ensure that the business is operating efficiently and effectively.
