Madam;

With reference to DepEd Order No. 34, s. 2022 titled “School Calendar and Activities for the School Year
2022-2023”, the Midyear In-Service Training is scheduled on February 6-10, 2023 to continually develop,
and enhance the competency of teaching and non-teaching personnel.

The five-day mid-year break shall be spent for the conduct of the Midyear Performance
Review and Evaluation and the School-Based INSET. The first two days shall be spent in
evaluating the school’s progress in the implementation of the educational programs,
projects, and activities, as well as in reviewing the performance of teachers and the school
staff to address concerns through cooperative effort. The last three days shall be devoted
to the conduct of the school based INSET activities for the teachers’ continued professional
development and the preparation of their Instructional Materials.

In view of this, you are hereby designated as the proponent and overall chairman of the 5-
day School-Based In-service Training for Teachers . You are responsible for the overall
planning and execution of the training to facilitate the sessions' success.

You are hereby designated as Chairman/Training Proponent in conducting the School-Based In-
Service Training catering to the needs of the teachers with the following functions and responsibilities.

1. Craft a training matrix for the said INSET.

2. Seek permit to conduct INSET from the Division Office.
3. Spearheaded the conduct and other necessary preparations of the said INSET.

The designation is an addition to your regular teaching load and maybe terminated in the exigency of
the service. It does not entitle you to any additional remuneration.
