Research studies have shown that in spite of huge investments and
resource planning, about 84% digital transformation projects fall short of
their goals. This can be attributed to a plenty of focus on IT and
infrastructure, and a lack of strategy to manage digital transformation,
thus failing to create new value for business.
Objectives
This programme focuses on leading the digital transformation in organisations. The
programme draws from a wide variety of perspectives, such as strategic
management perspectives, organisational change management and human-
technology interface. The programme will provide participants insights about
overcoming the challenges involved in digital transformation and in turn explore
how digital transformation can create value for the customers.

Prof. Rajat Sharma is an Associate Professor of Marketing
at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has
research and teaching experience of more than a
decade. His current research interest targets the analysis
of the marketing consequences of the Internet and
digital media on industries and markets. His has an
expertise in the application of analytics in business, with
specific emphasis to marketing, sustainability, retailing
and ecommerce.He has used many statistical tools in his
research including SPSS, AMOS, SmartPLS, Excel and R.
He is also assisting numerous startups in their digital and
analytical needs.
He has consulted in various capacities for A.P. Civil Supplies Corporation, Zydus
Pharmaceuticals, Airtel, UTC Aerospace Systems, Leisure Hotels, LIC of India, Tata
Chemicals and many other firms on realizing business value from marketing
investments, internet marketing and business analytics. He has presented papers in
several international conferences. His research work is published in the top rated
Academic journals, including, International Journal of Hospitality Management,
Journal of Sustainable Tourism, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Consumer
Behavior, etc. He is currently teaching courses on Leading Digital Transformation,
Consumer Behaviour and Digital Marketing. He has also worked on research
projects with various ministries, including Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of
Rural Development and Ministry of Railways.
Prof. Sharma has worked with IIM Kashipur for nearly five years, as an Assistant
Professor and IIM Jammu for seven months, as an Associate Professor. He received
his Fellowship (Ph.D.) in Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

The closing date for receiving applications is September 26, 2022. All applications are
subject to review and approval by the programme faculty (usually after the due date
for receiving applications). A formal acceptance letter will be sent to the selected
candidates. Applicants are requested to make their travel plans only after receiving
the acceptance letter.

Certification
A Certificate of Participation will be
issued to the participants at the end of
the programme, subject to their having
attended all the sessions of the
programme. Absence from any session
needs to be with the prior approval of the
Programme Faculty Co-Chairs.
IIMA norms do not allow participants to have guests staying with them during
the programme.
Programme Fee & Payment
INR 126,000 plus GST per person for participants from India and its equivalent in US
Dollars for participants from other countries. The fee includes tuition fee,
programme materials, boarding and lodging.
The programme fee along with the application form should be received by the
Executive Education Office latest by September 26, 2022. In case of cancellations,
the fee will be refunded only if a request is received at least 15 days prior to the start
of the programme. If an application is not accepted, the fee will be refunded to the
person/organisation concerned.
