THE IMPACT OF CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

In their practical, professional or even personal lives, everyone wants to be able to think critically and
creatively and present new viewpoints.

pursue his interests and ambitions.

The creative way of thinking had its disadvantages in some situations but some advantages in some
advantages in other situations.

Creative thinking is essential because it helps creative thinkers move away from their usual way if
thinking, encourages consideration of other perspectives, and even an openness to the idea of new
solutions.

Critical and creative thinking provides self awareness: As we employ our thoughts, feelings and beliefs,
we learn to think genuinely. This introduces prejudices into our thinking, but we may learn to set these
notions aside and gain a thorough understanding of who we are. We become more assured in our
awareness and thinking as a result. We may start contributing to the group and our entire business by
usuling creative thinking to boost our confidence in our ideas.

Critical and creative thinking provides tremendous freedom: We have the chance to engage with the
world while abstaining from self-criticism when we innovate. Similar to how we felt as children when we
are unconcerned with what other people thought of us and were free to think as we pleased, so is this
feeling.
It promotes bonding and teamwork: One of the most important features of critical and creative thinking
is the creation of a spirit of cooperation between the work team and also generates social cohesion
among the members of the same team.

ideas, and developing them in a way that suits the nature of work. This will achieve impressive success
and huge sales of your product or service provided to the community.

scientists, but lawyers, doctors, reporters, engineers, accountants , and analysts (among many others)
all have to use critical and creative thinking in their positions.

It enhances better decision making:. There’s no doubt to it – critical thinking helps us deal with everyday
problems ax they come our way, and very often this thought process is even done subconsciously. It
helps us think independently and trust our gut feeling.

It makes us better citizens: One of the most inspiring critical thinking quotes is by former US President
Thomas Jefferson: “An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people ”.

What Jefferson is stressing to tell us here is that critical thinkers make better citizens, ax they are able to
see the entire picture without getting sucked into biases and propaganda.

Critical and creative thinking enhances problem-solving skills: Those with critical thinking skills tend to
solve problems as part of their natural instinct. Critical thinkers are patient and committed to solving
the problem, similar to Albert Einstein, one of the best critical thinking examples, who said “It’s not that
I’m not smart; it’s just that I stay with problems longer”.

Critical thinkers’ enhanced problem-solving skills makes them better at their jobs and better at solving
the world’s biggest problems. Like Einstein, they have the potential to literally change the world.

It is a crucial life skill: Critical and creative thinking is crucial not just for learning but for life overall.
Education isn’t just a way to prepare ourselves for life, but it’s pretty much life itself. Learning is a
lifelong process that we go through each and every day.

our own as we trust ourselves more. Critical and creative thinking is key to creating independence, and
encouraging students to make their own decisions and form their own opinions.

knowledge, clarify concepts and ideas, seek possibilities, consider alternatives and solve problems.

a sequence of thinking skills, students develop an increasingly sophisticated understanding of the
processes they can use whenever they encounter problems, unfamiliar information and new ideas. In

strategies can increase students’ motivation for, and management of, their own learning. They become
