Monitoring Plans 3.1 Learners’ gender, needs, strenghts, interest and
experiences
Annotation: I noticed in their output that they cannot correctly demostrate on how to
apply cleaning agents that is why I decided to reach them thru personal message. I
visited them last November and gave them printed materials which they can use to
properly do the task.In order to monitor if they has progress, I ask them to send
video of them doing the task. Now,they can perform their task well.

Annotation: Since we are in a Modular approach, I decided to have “online kumustahan”
thru the use of social media app. to help the learners in difficult times and also to monitor
their progress. In online kumustahan we are answering the tasks in their WHLP with the
use of bondpaper and brainstorming. We also had a feedbacking and giving of suggestion
and recommendation for every learners’ incorrect answer. With this strategies, I assure that
every learner had a chance to explain themselves about their answers.

Annotation: One of the things I am considering in preparing my lesson is the individual
differences of my students. That is why I am providing different assessment and
instructions for them. I also make sure that I have a review before starting a new lesson. I
also localized my lesson for my students to relate and develop nationalism. Lastly, the
most important thing I always bear in mind is, the alignment of my lesson and MELC.

Annotation: We are doing MELC Mapping every quarter to clearly see the alignment of our
lessons. And we also including the MELC in each assessment we are giving to the
students, for them to be aware of what they are answering aside from the rubrics and
WHLP we are giving as their guide in answering.

Annotation: In organizing my assessment, I am posting it on our group chats through picture
of each pages of assessments (with clear instructions). If learners did not have the capability to
see it through social media platforms, I gave them extra copy in printed form. When it comes to
designing and selectioning of assessment strategies, I only chose task that will really enhance
their skills and develop competency based on the lesson previously given.

Resources 4.5. Teaching and learning resources including ICT

Annotation: Since ICT’s plays integral part on learner’s life today, I’ll make sure that I have
prepared some lessons and assessment through the use of it. I’ll uploaded our lesson to GC.
So,that they will have time to review lesson at their most convenient time. There were
instances, that they lost a hardcopy of their assessment, but it will not a problem anymore
since we have GC they can review or search that task anytime, anywhere.

Development(PD)activities
Annotation: Attending webinars, conducting SLAC/LAC is a must for teachers today. With
this, we will uplift our skills and competency in teaching, and help discover new learning
styles/strategies that will guide us on how to give quality education/service to our students at
this time of pandemic.

Reflective Summary 7.4. Professional reflection and learning to improve
practices

Annotation: Upon hearing and reading artifacts for this LDM 2, I was a little bit sad. There’s a
question in my mind which was “where did I put such things needed for this portfolio”? But since, I
have my box full of needed evidences, I found out that this is not a hard task. If you really did what
was stated above, this activity was very easy. For me, the hard part was typing and selecting design
to use for my portfolio.
I can proudly share to my co-workers that I learned in this LDM 2 the work of word “preserverance”
and “creativity”.Why?Because I believe that if you are really determined to do one thing, I know that it
woud be possible and if you are very creative upon doing this task, you will find out that it would have
a better result/outcome.
Doing this task would help me realize that I can go as far as I can. That, doing your job with a heart is
a great achievement. And knowing that you help and guide your learners in this time of learning
situation is a joyful memories that you may cherish until the end of your teaching stage.
I think one of the things that would help me improve my practices in teaching was the continouos
professional trainings and doing task repeatedly to make it perfect.
Based on my reflection,I coud say that I learned a lot from this course.

their Progress and 5.2. Monitoring and Evaluation of learner progress
and achievement
Achievement
Annotation: To monitor learners’ progress, I did online kumustahan where I can tell to
them about their classmates who were not submitted their output and who failed to
passed one or two subjects and I had this quarterly homeroom meeting with their
parents. During the Homeroom meeting, I give feedback to parents regarding on their
childs’ academic status.I also provide some suggestions/recommendations which will
helps improve their childs’ grade per subject. I also visited learners who are having
difficulties in answering their task on module. And at the same time inform their parents
about their incomplete output submitted.

their Progress and 5.3. Feedback to improve learning
Achievement
Annotation: I gave feedback in every summative test and any output that they have in
the subject I handled. I’ll make sure that it doesn’t hurt the feelings of my learners.
Even they don’t get a perfect score, I praised them, but at the same time with a reminder
that they will need to study well to get a much higher score next time. I let them feel that
I appreciate every sigle and little effort they exerted.I also used rubrics in every
assessment I gave to them. With this, they were not able to file any complaint because
they have the guide to follow in order to have a score that they deserve.

7.3. Professional links with colleagues
Annotation: Our colleagues is one of our support systems in this time of pandemic. We
have our system to continue develop our teaching practices. We also have our online
kumustahan every month to discuss issues and challenges in LCP and to greeet and give
support to each and everyone to make them feel that they are not one in this
situation.Make them realize that in this group, they are in good hands. We also have time
to refresh our minds and soul by having a quarterly team building. Like an engine, we
have to take a little break to regain strength and become powerful again for the next step
of our journey as a teacher.

6.2. Engagement of Parents and the wider school community in the
educative prpcess

Annotation: Engaging parents in educative process make them feel the sense of
responsibility as parents and make them believe in their capability to support and guide their
children especially at this time of learning situation. This process helps teachers, parents
and students very well. Based from my observation, learners with the guide and support of
their parents are likely to excell in class rather than in learnners without their
parents/guardians on their back.

5.4. Communication of learner needs, progress and achievement to key
stakeholders

Annotation: As what I have said earlier, we are conducting quarterly homeroom

meeting with our parents and other stakeholders to hear their voice about this
situation of continous learning. In this matter, we can address the problems and
give actions or solutions immediately. We also engaged them to every activities
in the school, to make them feel the sense of belongingness and feel the
sharing of responsibility in ensuring the future of their children.
