The Creed of Resurrection of Man and Day of Judgment: From Surah Qaf
The Creed of Resurrection of Man and Day of Judgment: From Surah Qaf
22l-7928
This verse from Surah Qaf tackles skepticism over after-death resurrection. Is it
possible to resurrect someone who has passed away and been converted to
dust? The verse suggests that disbelievers say that iit is impossible for the dead
to come back to life, but then Allah makes it clear that He knows what the earth
does with them when they pass away and that there is a carefully preserved
record of their acts with Him.
Accountability of deeds :

This verse emphasizes the responsibility of our actions as Allah has held
humans accountable for their actions. Allah is closer to us than our jugular vein,
Sitting to our right and left, the two recording angels keep track of everything we
do. If this belief is strong then no believer will try to transgress the limits of Allah

And listen! On the Day the caller will call out from a near place, the Day
all will hear the ˹mighty˺ Blast in ˹all˺ truth,1 that will be the Day of
emergence ˹from the graves˺.
In this verse from Surah Qaf, the fear that mankind will feel on the Day of
Judgement is described. Everyone will hear the powerful Blast. People will be
terrified and dreadful when they confront the results of their deeds in this world
In the verse number 30 Allah says : ˹Beware of˺ the Day We will ask Hell, “Are
you full ˹yet˺?” And it will respond, “Are there any more?”
Humans need dramatic examples to shake them out of their apathy. That is why,
Allah Almighty has described such a horrifying scene for us so that we may
believe that we have to be resurrected once again and explain our actions in the
world we left.

The contrast between those who adore this fleeting world and ignore the
Hereafter and those who are focused on the Hereafter is highlighted in this verse
from Surah Qiyamah. Some faces will be radiant as they gaze at their Lord,
meaning they will be the successful ones who have been granted the sight of
their lord (May Allah guide us to be in their ranks). Meanwhile others will be
dejected as they wait for something terrible to happen. This verse serves as a
gentle reminder to keep our eyes on the Hereafter and avoid getting sidetracked
by worldly pleasures, leading to a strong belief in the creed of resurrection. In
ayah number 14-15, Allah describes the condition of such people as : In fact,

people will testify against their own souls, despite the excuses they come
up with.
The might of Allah's creation is emphasized in this verse from Surah Al-Qiyamah.
This verse makes us think about whether man was not created from a single
sperm drop. This highlights the fact that everything in the cosmos was created
by Allah. It serves as a constant reminder of the magnitude of Allah's power and
the wonders of His creation. If Allah Almighty is such a powerful existence then
the question posed in ayah number 40 : Is such ˹a Creator˺ unable to bring
the dead back to life? starts to answer itself.

the moon is dimmed, and the sun and the moon are brought together,
on that Day one will cry, “Where is the escape?”
These verses describe how certain people insult others who believe in the Day
of Judgement. These individuals deny the existence of the Day of Judgement
while mockingly enquiring as to its time. They appear comfortable in their denial.
But the verses go on to detail the things that will happen on the Day of
Judgement, and these mockers will be in awe of what is described. Their eyes
will be in a state of shock, and the moon loses its brightness . Everything they
used to take for-granted in this planet will be totally altered when the sun and
moon are brought together and the Hereafter comes upon them and they will be
left helpless calling for escape.
