An Order further to amend the Appointment of Federal

Ministers and Oath of Office Order, 1999

F.No.2(4)/2002-Pub., dated 21-6-2002.--The following Order promulgated by the Chief

Executive is hereby published for general information:--

Whereas it is expedient further, to amend the Appointment of Federal Ministers and

Oath of Office Order, 1999 (Order No.7 of 1999), for the purpose hereinafter appearing;

Now, therefore, in pursuance of the Proclamation of Emergency of the Fourteenth day of

October 1999, and the Provisional Constitution Order No. l of 1999, and in exercise of all powers
enabling him in that behalf, the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan is pleased to
make and promulgate the following Order:--

1. Short title and commencement.--(1) This Order may be called the Appointment of
Federal Ministers and Oath of Office (Amendment) Order, 2002.
(2) It shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of Chief Executive's Order No.7 of 1999.--In the Federal Ministers and
Oath of Office Order, 1999 (Order N6.7 of 1999),--
(a) In the preamble, after the words "Federal Ministers" the words "and Ministers of State"
shall be inserted;
(b) In Article. 4, after the words "Federal Ministers" the Words "and Ministers of State"
shall be inserted;
(c) In Article 7, after the words "Federal Ministers" the words "or Ministers of State" shall
be inserted;
(d) In Article 8, after the words "Federal Ministers" the words "and Ministers of State"
shall be inserted;
(e) In Article 9, after the words "Federal Ministers." the words "or a Minister of State" shall
be inserted;
(f) In Article 10, after the words "Federal Ministers" the words "or a Minister of State"
shall be inserted;
(g) In the Schedule, after the words "Federal Ministers" occurring twice, the brackets and
the words "(or Minister of State)" shall be inserted.
