TITLE: Teacher Class Attendance System
INTRODUCTION
The teacher class attendance system is purposely designed to
be used in educational institutions, this system will only require
teachers to scan the QR CODES to record their their
attendance during the arrival and departure in school
Checking teacher class attendance is an essential day to day
activity in school.it is done to ensure teachers are allows
present and attend to learners. The system is also critical in
tracking the tracking and monitoring teachers in school, the
said system is embedded with a webcam that records the
activities of teachers during logging to avoid cheating. The old
method of log in was prone to human error and not highly
accurate and reliable.
OBJECTIVES
1. The develop the a QR Code class attendance based
system
2. To timely monitor the attendance for teachers arrival
and departure in school
3. To easy up the recording of the attendance just by
scanning the QR code
4. To transform the tradition attendance system into an
advanced and technology assisted system.
5. To allow school managers to monitor teachers activities
in classroom.
6. To develop the system that will manage the attendance
records easily and conveniently
7. To make teachers improve in the way they teach
HYPOTHESIS
As a response to the above concerns, I proposed the
QRCODE based - attendance system with CCTV .The system
will record the list of teachers who arrives and depart from
school, it will closely monitor the attendance of teachers every
day in a timely, efficient and in accurate manner. This system
will eliminate the errors and problems encountered in manual
attendance system.
By implementing this system, the recording of attendance will
be efficient, timely, convenient and accurate.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
In Zambian schools, some teachers fake the time of reporting
by indicating wrong time of reporting for work, others are fond
of absenteeism, and this has contributed to the poor
performance of learners in schools, sometimes learners are left
unattended to, this is due to the poor way of managements
found in some schools
