Dear sir/madam,

My name is Fatma Ayad, an upcoming senior from Libya. I have recently completed
my exchange year in the USA, and that gave me the ambition to return there for
college. Therefore, I’m greatly interested in attending [college name] to continue my
American journey.

At the present time, my family is struggling financially, considering their limited

income and having to provide for five children (including myself), especially after
COVID, as it caused tremendous financial distress for my father. For that reason, it’s
a hardship for my family and me to pay the application fee. Besides, I want to lessen
the burden of my education on my family. So through this email, I’m requesting an
application fee waiver for my Common App and CSS profile submission to your
college.

I have cc'd to this email Mrs. Amira Ouardani, the EducationUSA advisor and
Competitive College Club consultant for Libya. She will be helping me in case I need
to provide any details about my profile or financial situation.

Please consider my request and I’ll be happy to provide any further information. I am
looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you for taking the time to read this email.

Yours sincerely,

Fatma Ayad
