The field of marketing is considered an evergreen industry and


holds significant focus within an organization, as it serves as a
revenue-generating department.

Marketing offers the potential for great success but also comes with
its fair share of challenges. It is a dynamic and constantly evolving
domain that requires adaptability to stay current.
Digital marketing has rapidly emerged as a prominent field. It serves
as an attractive option for both freelancers and organizations,
offering cost-effective means to reach a vast audience.
Marketing plays a crucial role in lead generation, while sales focus
on converting those leads into revenue.

Furthermore, it is often stated that after establishing oneself in


marketing for a minimum of three years, there are ample growth
opportunities available. This can potentially lead to strategic roles
within the marketing department.

various case studies and research papers. By immersing myself in
these resources, I aim to broaden my thinking and gain different
perspectives that can inform effective decision-making processes.

Critical Judgment and Conclusion

Overall, I feel that this combination is most appropriate and suitable as per
my skillset. Yes, there are few deficiencies, but I will learn and improve
those skills in the due course of time.

I feel that HRM and marketing as appropriate combination of specialization.


Because I would like to be in people-oriented jobs. With this specialization, I
will be looking for roles in learning and development, payroll and
compensation, Digital marketing, marketing analyst, etc.

Therefore, as per my skills and understanding, I feel HRM, and Marketing


are righteous choice going forward.

management is in much demand. It is still prospering but it holds
immense opportunities with itself. With a huge advancement in
online services, a career in this field ensures a brighter and
secure future in the long run. The logistics and SCM departments
establish a system to deliver goods and services from supplier to
consumer/ client.

Watching today’s fast-paced and technology-driven scenario of


industries in India, one of the most secured career options we can
see is logistics and supply chain management. Every industry, be
it small or big, be it local or branded, moves forward with a
procedure, a process which is supervised by logistics and supply
chain professionals

'Logistics and supply chain management is regional, national and


global - it is everywhere,' says Dr Graham Wall, MSc course leader in
Logistics and Supply Chain Management at the University of
Portsmouth. 'Without it, the wheels of industry and ultimately the UK
economy would grind to a halt. Logistics is a key part of the UK
economy, contributing over £127 billion and employing 1.7 million
people, around 5% of the workforce.'

Analytical Skill - You don’t necessarily need a degree in data science or


mathematics to be a successful logistics and supply chain manager, but
having the ability to read, analyse and interpret data will make you an
asset to any employer in the industry. 
Technical skills - A logistics and supply chain management degree will
equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to successfully grasp
the increasingly complex technical aspects of supply chains.

Adaptability - Characterised by constant change, the logistics and


supply chain industry demands managers who can effectively
demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in their approach.

Problem Solving Skill - To be a successful supply chain manager, you


need to be able to effectively solve problems and make decisions – fast.

Collaborative Skill - Although logistics and supply chain management is


a highly-technical industry, to be a successful supply chain manager, you
also need to have excellent people and collaborative skills.

Compensation Benefits for MBA freshers in Specialization 2

The salary range for entry-level in logistic supply chain


positions in India can vary based on various factors, including
qualifications, location, industry, and company size and

Salary Packages vary depending on the post, work


experience and area. A graduate can expect up to 2-3 lacs
per annum while an MBA graduate can expect around 3-6
lacs per annum. There can be regular growth in the PayScale
as you grow in the field. One who is working at higher post
can also earn up to 8-12 Lacs per annum.

Forecasting / Industry Analyst-Some organizations hire


industry analysts to look at the logistics and supply chain
management field as a whole in an attempt to identify both
current and upcoming trends and processes. This helps them
take advantage of the latest logistical innovations and stay
more competitive in their field. The Bureau of Labor
