Social responsibility is the ethical obligation and accountability of each and every individual.
Even corporations, organizations, and the government give part in helping communities and the
society. This mostly tackles environmental problems near their offices and ethical labor
practices.

2. How does it affect our society?

Being socially responsible helps maintain a clean environment, healthy relationship with
surrounding communities. Companies that promote social responsibility also encourage their
consumers to practice greener actions. The over all public health and safety gradually gets
better as the society adapts sustainability.

3. Is social responsibility being practiced in today's businesses? (Cite and expound your
examples)

Yes, there are businesses that practice social responsibility, big ones like Ayala corporation,
SM, and small ones like ours, through small actions like trash segregation to giving back to
our employees through company outings, Christmas party where everyone wins, small acts of
kindness through food, gifts to their family members.
