1 General information:
1.1 Type of machine:
This machine comes in the form of a box with dimensions (hxwxd)
500x400x260mm for a total weight of 18kg.
The box allows continuous analysis of the CO, O2 and CO2 content of a gaseous mixture and to
control alarms according to the analysis.
- Low voltage EN 61010-1 safety rules for electronic measuring, regulation and
laboratory equipment.
- Customer order.

CO2 0-3000ppm 500ppm
O2 0-25% 20.0%
The alarm thresholds are defined by default when applying the "Default
configuration" function.
However, they can be changed via the "Threshold configuration" menu.
The programming algorithm of this Control unit carries out continuous self-
checking. The flow conditions in the measuring cells are constantly checked.
- The response time of the measuring cells is approximately 40 seconds at 90% of the
scale.
- The response time to reach the default thresholds is:
- less than 15 seconds for electrochemical cells.
- 7 seconds for the CO Analyzer2.

INSTRUCTIONS MICRO JAZZ
2.4.2.1 PLC:
The system is managed by a JAZZ-type automaton.
This PLC operates at 24Vdc, it has 6 relay outputs, 6 discrete inputs and 4
configurable analog inputs 4-20mA, 0-20mA or 0-10V.
See Plans
Additional remarks:
-At the level of Q0 (horn management), it is possible to acknowledge the horn by pressing
on the key .
- At Q1 level, acknowledgment of the horn does not change the state of output Q1. At
- Q2 level, acknowledgment of the horn does not change the state of output Q2.

- Indoor use.
- 240Vac / 1A power supply with power supply network voltage fluctuation not
exceeding - 10% of the nominal voltage.
- The CO and O2 measuring cells are electrochemical. If they are exposed for a long
period to higher levels than the maximum value of their range, the risk of
deterioration of these detection means is significant.
- The device is not protected against the risk of significant water ingress into the pipes
intended for the passage of the sample or the standard gas. Only a paper filter can protect
against dust.

INSTRUCTIONS MICRO JAZZ
Step 1 : Power up the box by switching the QF1 circuit breaker to the
Walking. If the box cannot be powered up, check the 240V power supply
to the box.
Step 3 : Once on the main screen, check that there is no fault indication of
cells and sensors. If a fault indication is present, press the key
Step 4 : Check the flow value in the distribution clarinet for the cells. If the
flow rate value is not around 30l/h it is necessary to adjust it by
turning the flow limiter screw.
