Be Polite Use Magic Words
For Any Grade

This packet is designed to act out or think about social


situations where you should “Use Magic Words” like
please and thank you among other words. Included are 8
small posters showing polite phrases and/or words to post
in a spot in your classroom so children remember these
words and phrases. Also there are 23 cards with
scenarios written on them that you can present to the
class, have them think, pair, share to come up what they
might do in the situation and what they should say.

These can be used any way you might want to use them.
These scenarios are meant to get children thinking
critically and use problem solving strategies to figure
about how to handle certain situations that might arise
at school.
