UNIT-I

c. Explain any three network traffic management techniques (08 marks)

2 a. With a neat figure explain RAID techniques (08 marks)

b. Explain with a neat diagram the Block level and File level virtualization (06 marks)

c. With neat figure explain VLAN and VSAN technologies in brief. (06 marks)

3 a. What is FC SAN? What are it’s benefits? Explain the different port types in FC
network. (06 marks)

b. What is P2V conversion? Give it’s benefits. Explain with relevant diagrams the

c What are the benefits of network virtualization? List the components of VDC
network infrastructure (06 marks)

6 a. Explain how the clustering technique is used to protect compute infrastructure, (06 marks)
for providing high availability of VMs and their data in a VDC environment with
relevant diagrams
