Objective Created Seven days road safety awareness among the participants
including four & two wheeler , auto rickshaw drivers , school &
college students & general public from Korba in Chhattisgarh State.
Organized Camps for distributing literatures , brochures about
traffic rules and regulations among four & two wheeler , auto
rickshaw drivers , school & college students & general public from
Korba in Chhattisgarh State. Awareness on road safety issues
through street plays at Korba in Chhattisgarh State Seven days.
Aware & educated to the community, drivers, tourists , students
and general public about road safety rules & regulations

Brief description about the Project
The Seven Days road safety advocacy program was organized by
Bilaspur Model Education Society at Korba in Chhattisgarh. . The
road safety advocacy program sponsored by Road Safety Cell ,
Ministry of Road Transport & Highway, Govt. of India, New Delhi,
more than 200 participants to be attend the said program from,
Korba in Chhattisgarh State . The theme of the road safety
advocacy program were Not to drive in drunken stage, not to
overtake dangerously, not to drive unless perfect vision & not to
violate traffic rules. The road safety programme adopted two main
sub-themes, one was related to awareness on road safety issues to
the general public and the other was focused on road safety issues
for drivers of different specific type of vehicles.

Outcome the Project To aware and educate the community/drivers/tourists about rules
of Roads. To educate the target beneficiaries to find out of
strategies to overcome encroachment of Roadsides. To prepare and
distribute the pictorials literature for educating the community for
Road safety. To create awareness among the people for maintaining
