Purpose of 4M Change
• To closely monitor process and effect of
change on product.
Man
• If new Person join.
• Person is on leave for more than 1 month.
• Shift time extended
• If person is sick.

Machine
• Machine Change.
• Engineering change in Machine.
• Preventive Maintenance planned.
• Break down maintenance done on machine.
• Fixture change in machine.
• Removing or adding external process on machine
Material
• New Supplier or change current supplier
• New Material for approval source of trial.
• Same Supplier but mixing combination change.

Method
• Any Deviation form Process control (Process Parameter Change)
• Process Sequence Change.
• Additional process implemented.
• New technology implemented

1. Planned (Permanent)
2. Un Planned (Temporary)
Planned (Permanent) Type Change

• The change that discussed before change and


pre planned.

Unplanned (Temporary) Type Change


• The Change that is done due to some
unavoidable reason.
