Introduction to Literature:

In the context of highlighting and explaining the importance of literature, other people
may see literature as a piece of text that has different story and morals to tell. Some may only
revolve around the definition of literature as something that has been created in the past with
early era language that upholds the classics of literature. To be precise, in the modern-day era of
literature, the world we live is no longer based by the text. Literature can also be modified and
translated to different movies, raps, and plays that are very different from the form of literature
that other people knew in the past.
For me, literature is another concept of puzzle in which we must put effort in order to
depict the picture it has underneath it. It helps an individual deepen his/her perspective in life in
communicating or putting every puzzle piece together. Although sometimes, literature can
enhance yourself in depicting the very meaning of the work it shows. It may be put into little
pieces with different meanings to sort with. My interest in literature starts with how it can put me
in a situation wherein I can feel the presence of the story within me. It does not only show me or
test me to understand a different piece, it also makes me feel that I can somehow be another
version of me just by feeling every literary work I encountered with. Literary pieces that are
turned into different modern features such as movies and songs are a whole new concept that
makes me even more interested in literature.

By reading the reflection, it came to mind how timely it has been that literature has now evolved
in a different level. Interest in literature does not only revolve in the text itself but as well as the
different mediums showcasing the art of literature. As seen in the reflection, it also highlighted
the different eras that has gone by in the viewpoint of literature. It was emphasized how a single
text can translate different meanings and give out a lot of amazing morals.
