Question No 1

Modesty is a good quality. In hadees literature; Salman Al-Farsi narrated that the Holy Prophet (PBUH)
said:

“Indeed, Allah, is Hayy, Generous, when a man raises his hands to Him, He feels too shy to return them
to him empty and rejected.” (Jami` at-Tirmidhi: 3556)

Holy Prophet (PBUH) also said: modesty is a department of Eeman. There is a verse in holy Quran in
which Allah SWT says: Holy Prophet SAW feels modesty and do not ask you to go from his home. So it
seems very necessary to adopt “Haya” in all aspect of our life.

Now a days we see lack of modesty from children towards parents; students towards teachers etc. You
have to find just five reasons/ factors causing decrease in modesty. (10)

Answer:
There are some five Reasons/ factors causing decrease in Modesty,
1- Increase flirtatious speech.
2- No awareness of Modesty.
3- Drawing unnecessary attention to one self.
4- Use of Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
5- Drawing attention to hidden adornments.

Question No 2

Which parts are mandatory to wash in ablution “Wazo”? Write their name and quote the verse of Holy
Quran In this regard. (3+2=5)

Answer.

It consists of five simple steps.


1- Wash the hand.
2- Wash the face.
3- Wash the two arms to the elbows
4- Wipe the head and ears.
5- Wipe the two feet to the ankles.

The Holy Quran:-

O you who believe! when you rise up to prayer, wash your faces and your hands as far as the
elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles; and if you are under an obligation to
perform a total ablution, then wash (yourselves) and if you are sick or on a journey, or one of
you come from the privy, or you have touched the women, and you cannot find water, betake
yourselves to pure earth and wipe your faces and your hands therewith, Allah does not desire to
put on you any difficulty, but He wishes to purify you and that He may complete His favor on
you, so that you may be grateful. (Quran 5:6)
Hadith:-

"If anyone performs ablution like that of mine and offers a two-Rak'ah (units) prayer during
which he does not think of anything else (not related to the present prayer) then his past sins will
be forgiven." (Al-Bukhari)
