2023 (20days) by listing the number of hours and minutes you spent in the specific
activity you did classifying them according to the following:

Personal Fixing – This include but not limited to the time you spent for bath room
activities, eating, make-ups, cuttings finger nails, grooming, and the likes.

Household Chores- errands assigned to you at home or you voluntarily doing it for
them. These are buying groceries, cooking at home, dishwashing, washing clothes,
and many others.

Recreation & Socialization – recreation activities include playing games, exercise,

playing on-line and offline games playing, watching video or movie or face book and
other related activities. Socialization likewise is on-line chatting, posting or sending
pictures, texting or calling friends for “kumustahan” or “marites”, outings and swimming,
attending celebration activities, reunions, and many others meeting friends and love
ones.

Professional Growth – are activities going to school, attending classes, seminars,

trainings, and conferences, reading books, studying, surfing lessons in the internet,
doing project, assignment and school related activities or job-related activities like
reporting for work, part-time job, or research works as long as it will work for your
professional enrichment.

Rest & Sleeping – praying time, meditating, self-reflecting, not doing anything just to let
time pass by, and going to sleep.

Be sure that in one day, the total number of hours must be 24 hours. This activity
records how much time did you spend the 24 hours to each category of above-
mentioned activities. There should have a daily computation of the time (summary)
every day in your personal notebook.

Each student shall have and design his/her simple notebook where to record his/her
activities daily consistent for 20 days. This notebook is required to be submitted as part
of the final project. Devise your own design according to your creativity primarily to
capture the number of hours you are spending per category. Please do not buy
expensive notebook. Buy or make use only of an old notebook or improvise.

Further instructions will be given as we approach the end of 20 days on what to do with
the information you gathered to make it as your final project. There are formats as
example for the said activity as your guide. Choose only one from them or you may
devise your own style but be sure to confined them on the 5 categories only and having
24 total hours each day. Travel time going to and through school will be part of
professional growth while travel time going to and through the supermarket to buy
groceries will be part of household chores. Likewise, going to outing and back home will
be part of recreation & socialization.

Rest be assured that specific information will be taken with full confidentially by your
professor as none of your classmate can access your information unless you shared it
with them. Phase 2 activity will be announced for guidance.

Hope you able to follow the instruction. Thank and God bless.

Now, you are done with your journal, it is now the time to compute for the number of hours
spent among the 5 tasks category.

In the spread sheet shown on next page (use excel), filled up the column correspond to the day
or date coming from the journal the number of hours you spend for each tasks category. Enter it
as follows:
Spreadsheet format:

Make sure that the breakdown of hours in a day should always equal or total to 24 hours. This is
very important to check that you able to monitor your activities in a day. Just follow the
sequencing as such after filling up, this will be the result (this is just an example- you will have
your own result but the same table):

Day Rest & Sleep Personal Fixing Professional Growth Recreation & Social Household Chores Total Hrs
Apr-17 6 3 8 3 4 24
Apr-18 7 4 6 5 2 24
Apr-19 5 3 4 7 5 24

May-05 6 4 7 4 3 24
May-06 5 5 8 3 3 24
Total 138 70 94 109 69 480
Now from the result as example, we can compute from the Table the average number of hours
you are spending for a particular task in a day. This can be done by getting the average of the
number of hours in one category divided by the total no. of days (n=20). In this case 138/20 =
6.9%. The result of the computation will be like this.

Average No. of Hours per day spent for particular Task:

in percentage 6.9 3.5 4.7 5.45 3.45 24

Your are to present this table as Table 1. Table 1 shows the average number of hours you spent
in the various tasks categories. After presenting the table, input now what you can see in the
table? Discuss in narrative (paragraph) form the number of hours you are spending per
category. In another paragraph, what realization (insight) you have gain so far drawn from this
result. Provide explanation of your insights.

To continue, we are now to present the result as a whole. We are to use the total number of
hours (480) with the total number of hours spent per task category (the total hours for 20 days).
Say, from the given example, for sleeping we are to divide 138 by 480 which will equal to 29%
of your total no. of hours in 20 days. Compute for the others until all categories have the result.
Make a pie chart for it and label as Figure 1. However, to make it easy, in the excel, just fill in
the result in the categories for it will automatically compute and gives you Figure 1.

Example is given below:

Filled this up base from the result from Table 1.

Now, after having the results, discuss what has been in the table according on how you will
interpret it. Give details in each category. After discussing, give your own interpretations and
insight on how do you see yourself in reference with the table.

Self-Reflections

Insights discussion include self-reflections. Is the result affects you? Or is there something you
get it now and needs for improvements? Or it is just okay for you and why? Is there something
need to be changed for the better then say so?

The very essence of this activity is for you to see yourself, analyze and determine weather there
is something you need to do for your self to make adjustments as early this age. Reconcile the
results with your vision in life. Reconcile it with your personal goal how to become a true
successful entrepreneur. Based from the learnings from the past years or semesters, while we
are studying entrepreneurship, are there inconsistences with how we spend our time (hours)
with what goals we had set before for as to that “entrepreneur”? This will be now your ending
paragraph that will be labelled as recommendation. Discuss how you will improve spending
your time to achieve you goals.

Recommendation

Write here your self-recommendation reconciling the result of this activities with your personal
goals to become successful entrepreneurs. In most cases, where would you like to spend most
of your time to become successful.
