Housing units already exist in close proximity to Hospital Heliport. Charlottesville Cottages in close proximity with UVA Hospital. No safety problems or issues with the sale of units or property values. The City will address any public comment or questions regarding the cemetery. Any files are public information. Neighborhood concerns of drainage issues and rock at this site would make this a poor choice for burials. Updates to the code and review process would ensure that the same problems with the Medical Office Building do not reoccur. Any development at Spotswood would require a public process to sell the land and to review the development of the property.
