We are closely monitoring the devastating news coming out of Ukraine. Our thoughts are with our teams
and partners as well as with all the people in this region, and we still hope that diplomatic and non-violent
efforts can help resolve the situation, soon.
Due to the various sanctions being put in place across the world, Spellman have stopped all business
transactions with Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, effectively as of Thursday, February 24, 2022.
Specifically, and until ‘urther notice:
+ Allshipments of all products, services and goods, to and from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine and all
Spellman Global Locations with be placed on hold, regardless of payment or build status. In Glovia
locations, this means that the PROMISE DATE on all open orders for these countries should be
moved to “December 31, 2075” immediately.
+ Nonew orders shall be accepted by any Spellman Global location, for any goods or services directly
from customers residing in these countries as well as new orders intended to reach these
countries. Please be sure to follow all order entry End User Declaration and sereening processes
diligently.
‘+ As financial transactions between these countries and most of the rest of the world is not possible,
we will be unable to refund and prepayments to customers at this time. We will continue to
monitor the situation and react accordingly as things change.
Customers specifically impacted by the situation in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus are being contacted by our
Sales Teams.
From a supply chain perspective, freight carriers like FedEx, UPS and TNT have stopped their services to
the affected countries, and the air space is closed. Spellman does not currently have any direct suppliers
in Russia, Ukraine or Belarus, so there is no direct impact to our inbound supply chair. At this point in time,
the impact on the total global supply chain is not fully known.
