This summer High Point Village hosted a summer camp that ran through the months of June and July. We have explored our world together, had fun, and learned many new things along the way. Camp was a great success with 33 excited campers and 25 dedicated volunteers. This allowed so many of the campers the one-on-one instruction that they desired and formed strong bonds and friendships. Over the course of the summer campers made new friends, learned something new every day, as well as strengthened their social skills. We are already looking forward to a fun-filled camp next year! When High Point Village was started, parents and caregivers alike shared the vision for a Village, where those with special needs could thrive, develop, and continue to attain a high quality of life after they graduated from school and home settings. Now, that vision is closer than ever to becoming real. We hope to begin breaking ground on our new facility soon! We are currently accepting donations to assist with the construction of our Enrichment Center and eventual Residential Community. To donate, contact Executive Director, Doug Morris or donate online at our website. Please help us make our vision a reality!
