What Is A Business Case Study?


A business case study is done to study a business problem and how its solution was reached.
These business case study assignments are given to management students so that they can
increase their knowledge about real-life business issues and how they are dealt with so that
students can develop the quality of these increasing issues in this era of market globalization.

You are a Business Development Manager at Careem Egypt, that is operating in 2 cities (Cairo -
Alexandria). In the first quarter of 2020, our sales numbers were 120 million and all the industry
sales numbers were 300 million.
You are planning to operate in another City in few months, but the corona pandemic happened!
During the quarantine: 
 Careem sales decreased by 80%.
 Industry sales decreased by 70%.

As a business developer, you must offer a solution to develop the company performance during
the quarantine and increase the growth rates.
