1.0 INSTRUCTION:

This is an individual assignment carrying 20% of the total marks available for the
module.
Submission of assignment should only be through in the form of hard copies (during
class) and softcopy (in Google Classroom) where any submission of any other sources
(e.g. Email, Instagram, WhatsApp etc.) will NOT be accepted.

2.0 FORMAT OF THE ESSAY:

It is the student responsibility to produce a clear and easily understood document as per
below format:

⮚ Write references/citations in a standard format.

3.0 QUESTION:

In Malaysia, the fundamental principle is that an accused person is innocent before a competent
court of law proves him guilty. Thus, the Malaysian criminal justice system provides various
measures to protect convicted persons. The components of criminal justice system in Malaysia
is divided into three components where it involves the Law Enforcement Agencies (Police),
Court System and also Prison System.

Based on the above statement, write a written report titled “The Components of Criminal
Justice System and Its Functions in Malaysia”
