SHELL GRAVE

EXT. SHIP, SHELGRAVE SEA - NIGHT (INTRO)

FADE IN:

Lightning flashes as thunder booms on stormy clouds and heavy

rain pours down. Various crew members run all over the deck,
shouting and panicking. Some rush to retrieve weaponry and
ammunition while others go below deck to collect water spilling
from leaks in the hull. A bunch more man torn-up sails as some
sailors fill the cannons with more gunpowder and cannonballs.

[Player] gets a few more cannonballs and brings them to the

nearest cannoneer.

CAPTAIN
YOU THERE!

The CAPTAIN comes in and grabs [Player]’s shoulders.

SHIP CAPTAIN
We just lost another man behind the cannons.
Ya gotta take over for him now, ya hear?! NO
BUTS!

The captain drags [Player] to a cannon. A loud, whale-like

scream can be heard from below nearby waters. Shouts from the
crew grow louder and in quantity as they rush to get ready for
an incoming attack.

CAPTAIN
I trust ya know how to shoot this cannon,
don’t ya? Ya better be, ‘cus I mean this
with all remaining bones and organs in my
body left: Every. Shot. Counts.

A SAILOR screams.

SAILOR #1
INCOMING!

A huge whale-like seabeast, KAZAR, rises up from the depths a

few hundred meters from the ship. Each of his eyes open before a
third eye on top opens, glowing light blue. He sets all three
eyes onto your ship.

CAPTAIN
ALL HANDS ON DECK! GET READY TO FIRE!

The captain grabs [Player]’s shoulder and points his finger at

them.

CAPTAIN
Do your damn best to suck the life outta him.
Kazar MUST be taken down.

DEFEAT KAZAR (INTERACTIVE)

Kazar slowly swims towards the ship. The player, stationed at

the side of the deck manning a cannon, must shoot at the beast
until he has 1% health left as shown in Kazar’s health bar. The
ship will get more damaged from Kazar’s swipe and ramming
attacks over time.

If Kazar reaches just a few meters near the ship, he will rise
up from the water up to his neck and opens his mouth to chomp
the boat up. A quick time event will start where the player AIMS
and FIRES at Kazar’s mouth to push him back to the water,
severely injuring him and stopping his chomp attack.

[SELECT SCENE]
The ship is destroyed.
Kazar is heavily injured.

THE SHIP IS DESTROYED

Kazar dives down right below the ship before quickly swimming up to
chomp the damaged vessel in his mouth. The ship and everyone on it
gets crushed under his sharp teeth. Kazar crashes down into the
water, taking the shipwreck with him.

GAME OVER.
KAZAR IS HEAVILY INJURED

Kazar wails in agony. Enraged, his third eye glows brighter than
ever before. He pulls back, opens his mouth, and shoots a huge blue
fireball targeted at the ship itself.

Right in the trajectory of the fireball, [Player] freezes. The

captain dashes in the nick of time and pushes [Player] just before
the fireball hits them, taking the hit in their place. The fireball
shoots straight through the hull of the ship, water starting to
seep through and overtake the vessel.

The captain and several other men are nowhere to be found,

presumably taken with the fireball just now. Everyone onboard are
now leaderless and unsure what to do next, while Kazar lets out an
ear-bursting roar.

All of a sudden, numerous shouts ring out in chaos.

SAILOR #2
ABANDON SHIP! ABANDON SHIP!

SAILOR #3
EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!

As some men jump off into water and try to escape via broken wood
boards from the ship, Kazar prepares to leave. But not before
attacking one last time with his tail, smacking it right next to
the ship causing a huge wave that quickly overturns the ship upside
down.

[Player] is running with other crewmates towards the edge of the

deck before Kazar’s tail hits. [Player] trips and falls on his tail
just before it flips back up. Like a catapult, the tail flings the
[Player] way up in the sky and away from the scene literally.
[Player] takes one last look at the sinking ship before suddenly
being struck by a lightning bolt.
