Project Planning
Green field projects are undertaken for developing
plastics’ moulding shop in coordination with the
architect for optimum utilization of space. All the
care is taken for the proper flow of raw material to
finished goods, their stocks and delivery as well.
Services are extended to machinery and auxiliary
selection and process optimization there after.

Process Optimization
Being a plastics’ engineer and the vast experience
of processing industry, gave thorough knowledge
of plastics’ processing Machines, Raw Materials,
Moulds, and Processing made possible to
synchronise with the right combination of the
same and optimise the parameters.

Way to
Higher Productivity…
Bottom line is per kilo
conversion cost
To improve productivity is most important to face
local/global competition and to face increased
input cost like power, labour, raw material,
infrastructure etc.

Ample scope of improvement in efficiency is present in the neglected

area or one can say the GREY area in plastic industry and that is
water cooling and distribution for moulds, dies, machines and other
auxiliaries. This is particularly important because cooling can
consume say 13% of energy used in a plastics processing plant and
simple actions can significantly reduce the energy usage.

Reducing distribution costs for cooling and chilled water is often one
of the easiest and the quickest methods of reducing energy use in
water cooling. The water circulation pumps for cooling and chilling
systems are often incorrectly sized for the demand, due to
expansion/contraction of the system or poor initial specification.

Computer aided design can act as a

first step towards saving energy.
Efficient cooling can only be achieved by designing the plant cooling
network for the required flow of water at every node i.e. heat
exchangers, mould manifolds etc. The right design is confirmed by
way of computerized simulation for the system water pump/s, pipe
material, pipe diameters, fittings etc. During simulation process all
the care is being taken for the type of water flow (turbulent) in the
pipelines by calculating Reynolds’ number and no back pressure in
the return lines.

Resultant Benefits
• It gives almost equal water Pressure and Flow to all the Moulds
and Machines.
• Outlet water from heat exchanger will not create any back
pressure.
• Turbulent flow gives 30% better cooling than laminar flow.
• Maintains Oil viscosity, it prevents over loading of pump and
electrical motor.

Along with the computerized simulation process the optimization

process is carried out for the energy conservation.

Modify your existing cooling system and/or

implement for new projects and get lifetime
advantage of better Cycle Time, reduction in
Power Cost, Maintenance Cost and much
more.
