Time per group for presentation-10 minutes

Guidelines:
1. Group Forming Guidelines -Class sequence as per class attendance sheet: Groups of
5 ( Class S No 1-5,6-10,…)
2. Each section will have approximately 10 groups.
3. Group size to be 4 or 5. If the last group size, by above logic is less than 4, or more
than 5, class rep to discuss with me.
4. All group members will get same marks.
5. The details of the group as mentioned below to be submitted to me before start of
class. PPT to be mailed to Class Rep and me on October 10 before start of class.
6. Only those students present at the time of presentation will be entitled for marks.
7. Sequence of presentation will be decided by draw of lots.
8. More than 4 slides are not permitted.

Assignment:
1. Select any upcoming technology, which is connected to Operations, by your own
research, e.g., QR Code, Block Chain, 3D printers, Robotics, AI, IoT, etc. Topics are
many and wide ranging. Your selection is key.
2. 4 Slides:
I. Details of group. Topic.
II. Explanation of technology. What is the technology, how does it function.
III. What is this technology and how it is being used today.
IV. How would this technology be used in field of Operations, in days/years to
come? How would it affect us?
3. Sheet below, duly filled in to be submitted before presentation
