Flying squirrel

These animals usually live high up in the tres, especially in Nort American forests. In those
trees they build their nests with branches that help them protect themselves.
They are omnivorous animals, so they have a varied diet. They eat small birds or reptiles,
insects but also seeds, fruits and bark. Also, these rodents are nocturnal, They have thick
brown skin on their back and gray on their belly. This helps you to protect yourself from the
cold winter.
They also have a large fold of skin on their sides and a flat tail and this allows them to fly
briefly. This is what characterizes them.
However, their numbers are declining because many do not escape snakes, owls or barn owls.
Illegal felling of men also destroys their habitat. I think it´s important to know these animals.
Once I was asked about this animal and I didn´t really know flying squirrels.
