 Ideation Effectivity Metric
 This dashboard shows how many ideas move from idea to project planning and rest of the
project phases. It also gives a view of how ideas are distributed across various maturity phases
of NPI project based on selected criteria (timeframe) .
 Note : Ideas for which the Project events are still in progress and do not have the end
date(planned/forecast/actual end date) populated, will not be displayed in the report.

 NPI Cycle Time
 This Dashboard calculate the average cycle time of the selected projects as well as cycle time
by phase. This gives a good distribution of cycle time by phase as well as cycle time by month
giving a trend of cycle time based on the selected projects based on time, Business unit.
– Actual Cycle Time: Plan phase start to Pre-production phase complete
– Actual Plan phase time: Plan start to Plan complete
– Actual Development phase time: Develop start to develop complete
– Actual Proto phase time: Proto start to proto complete

 Note: This report needs EventNameMappingCube to fetch data and calculate the cycle time
correctly. If it is missing in the TcRA context, this report might not display correct data.
Importing the cube will ensure the report runs as expected.

 OTD report for Sample Plan
 This Dashboard measures Delivery to the committed sample plan dates.
 For a Given month, the metric measures how many projects were sampled the first time on time
/ total number of projects due for sampling on the month. If the sample is done in a month(i)-n,
it is tracked as a count for month(i) vs if the sample is done month(i)+n , the count is 0 for the
month(i).

 R&D Metrics
 This dashboard displays the tabbed report for the average Development Passes, Mask Set Ratio
and Days Late to Prototype Completion against the plan for a selected set of projects based on
time and Business unit.
 Sample calculations for Development Passes metrics:
Expectation or target is to have 1 for all projects
Consider Projects A1, B2, C3 are part of the BU selection in Q1 and
Project A1 had 3 pass and Project B2 had 1 pass and Project C3 had 2 pass
Hence, Average of 3 projects = 2 = ( (3+1+2)/3) for Q1
(assuming only these 3 projects completed development in Q1)
 Same holds for Mask Set Ratio:
Expectation is to have 1 mask Set/project. In other words only 1 Tapeout/project.
 Sample calculations for Days Late to Proto Complete:
Target : No project should be late, it can be early or on-time.
P1, P2, P3 were supposed to be complete proto in Q1 but
P1 on time and P2 late by 7 days and
P3 could not finish and will spill to next quarter (Using the forecast date, it is to be 26 days late)
Hence, Average = (0+7+26)=33/3= 11 days late for Q1

 Note: This report needs EventNameMappingCube to fetch data and calculate the cycle time

the cube will ensure the report runs as expected.
