Do boys spend more time on social media than girls?
 Introduction
I chose this topic because I wanted to out how much time students spend
on social media on a weekly basis and also to find out if girls spent more
time on social media than boys.
 Method of Data Collection
The May Pen High School has a population of over 400 students. A
sample of 20 students (10 boys and ten girls from form five class) was
chosen at random to carry out this investigation. Data was collected by
the use of questionnaire.
The method of data collection was appropriate due to the fact that the
questions can be structured to gather only the information necessary for
the investigation. There were no flaws because the questionnaires were
given to randomly chosen individuals. In addition, the questions clearly
stated to prevent confusion so that they could be easily answered.
The research was carried out on February 4, 2020. Ten questionnaires
were given out to the students that were randomly chosen for the
investigation and all were completed and returned.
