INDIVIDUAL WORK APPLICATION PLAN

PLAN TO APPLY A NEW LEARNING BACK AT WORK. MAKE YOUR PLAN SMART

Specific – define it carefully with no unclear language.

Measurable – how will you track progress and measure the outcome?
Achievable – is it reasonable enough to be accomplished?
Relevant – is it meaningful for your work situation and the goals of your organization?
Time-bound – when do you expect to have implemented your plan?

What upcoming workplace activity, task or project provides an opportunity to apply my

new learning?

Manage and Prioritize Task. Use the time more manageable even in busy schedules. When it
comes to planning, you need to be systematic and organized. Knowing how to prioritize the
crucial and less critical tasks for your employer is demonstrated by your time management
abilities. It demonstrates to them that you can adjust to various work environments and perform
well in whichever position you are assigned.

What is the specific new learning I am going to apply at work? (tool, method, concept,
suggestion)

Organizational tools are the specific tool I will use at work to increase the productivity of my day.
It will help me organize my time, space, and duties. To do activities, I'll also use the physical
actions technique, which I'll evaluate and alter as necessary to avoid discomfort. Theoretical
ideas will be put into practice at work so that I can know how to behave or dress in accordance
with any other idea that might influence my working environment.

What key personal or business outcome(s) do I think this application of new learning will
impact? Eg. improved learners performance, efficiency, customer satisfaction, workplace
relationships?

Students are more engaged with their learning and the course material when the emphasis is
placed on applying the knowledge and skills they have acquired in a course and on integrating
those skills with other aspects of their lives.

How will I know that what I’ve applied has caused a successful outcome?

How successfully I attain that balance is how I evaluate my success. I view it as a success if it
helps the students to understand why the knowledge being thaught and those skills will be useful
to them.

TALK WITH SOMEONE ELSE ABOUT YOUR PLAN.

Talk with your line manager, a peer, or a coach.

Change your plan if you think their ideas or
insights can help.

During our preparation to our Pre-Demo Teaching I had the chance to talk with my
groupmates about game-based learning and we concur that the method can raise learners'
motivation and capability for critical thought.

PUT YOUR PLAN INTO ACTION.

Carry out the activity, taking care to use the specific new
learning as you have planned. Take it slowly and
consciously work to follow your plan.

When our Pre-Demo Teaching came, my groupmates and I were able to present a game-
based learning.

REFLECT ON THE APPLICATION OF YOUR NEW LEARNING.

It might be helpful for you to talk this over with the person who shared your plan.
Here are some questions to help you:

What actually happened? What were the outcomes?

The learning promotes critical thinking and problem solving skills and it simulates
student’s experience the learning firsthand.
What barriers or challenges did I face? How did I overcome them?
Students who have lack of confidence are the challenge of this new learning but a good
motivation and support from the teacher is essential
What went well?
It develops active learning among children.
What didn’t go so well?
Games take time to learn and the design is not properly suitable to variety of learners
What will I do next time to improve my performance?
I should monitor the every student’s performance and to make the desired changes
in a timely manner.
What will I not do next time? What conclusions can I draw?
Involve and encourage everyone to participate on this game-based learning.

THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO NEXT.

Now that you’ve completed a full cycle of

PLAN, SHARE,
IMPLEMENT and
REFLECT, either:

use another workplace activity to PLAN another application of this

same learning, or
now PLAN to apply another new learning.

Innovate game-based learning. It should not be

competitive in the conventional sense but a
collaborative learning to everyone.
