Proposed business: Printing shop

Location: San Juan, Tabaco City, Albay

Budget requirements: 50,000 Pesos

Period of implementation: February 2023

I. INTRODUCTION

People can go to the printing company to have their materials printed there. Some print

businesses are fairly limited in what they can do because they usually only specialize in one

kind of printing.

As students, we use such establishments to print our important documents and school

works. We can all attest to going to different shops because it would be full or the prices are just

too high and not in the standard, then waiting for a long time since the computer shop doesn’t

have more printers so it can only accommodate about 1 or 2 people at a time. Here in my

barangay San Juan, Tabaco City, Albay there are a lot of schools. If there would be a dedicated

shop for accommodating such needs it would be quite convenient and certainly help our fellow

students and residents of the barangay, it can also be turned into a profit. So I've come up with

the idea of establishing a printing shop specifically tailored for printing all kinds of prints.

II. MARKETING ANALYSIS

Market profile:

The people that live in barangay San Juan, Tabaco City, Albay, are this company's target

market. Since the shop will specialize in all types of print, the residents of this barrio will

undoubtedly be pleased and find it convenient and accessible.

Demand analysis:
When we first open, our goal is to serve 15 individuals at a time while making sure they

have the correct paper size for the print. If the need for our services grows, we will bring out

extra equipment as necessary.

Competitive Analysis:

Printing businesses face a lot of competition. Numerous computer stores in our

barangay might potentially compete with us to entice additional customers. We must take into

account the service pricing and the quantity of operational equipment for this commercial

enterprise. This will enable us to offer printing services on a greater scale. This factor needs to

be taken into account because it is one of the ways printing businesses may differentiate

themselves from the competition. Since no other store in our barangay has a dedicated shop

that offers printing on all fronts, the printing shop is one strategy to lure people into the business.

III. OBJECTIVES

To support the neighborhood and the demand for printing, while attempting to accommodate

and provide exceptional customer satisfaction.

IV. METHODOLOGY

Brief Description of the Business design

This printing shop will offer printing and copies of documents, cards, and shirts for

customers. The business is envisioned as an easily accessible print shop that caters to all types

of printing. It also intends to give services costing significantly less than the prices of its

competitors, while supplying superior quality.

V. PRODUCT AND SERVICES

The printing shop was established with the aim of providing exceptional printing

service for a profit. We want to compete favorably with other computer shops in the

barangay which is why we have put up an abundance of printing equipment to meet and
even surpass our customers’ expectations and match by providing them with a quick and

easy print. Our service offerings are listed below and other services will expand when the

quality of our equipment and staff increases ;

VI. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS (50,000 pesos)

Initial Budget Allotments:

● Printing machineries - 40k

● Inkjet cartridge/Printer toner - 3k

● Different sizes of paper (A4, A3 ,long and short coupon bond) - 2k

● Other additional expenses – 5k

VII. TIMELINE

The company may encounter challenges in the early weeks or months of operation, and

issues will develop. The business will use fresh business tactics to adjust to them and get

through the problems while maintaining top-notch customer service. This will be the sequence in

which the business will be done leading to its opening.
