FA LEC Agreement

Learn, Earn, and Contribute (LEC) Agreement is not a loan or credit, rather a promise
to give your best to learn one of the digital skills with IEC’s support and then strive
hard to start earning at least PKR 50,000 using the digital skills learned from IEC and
then sponsor at least one student by paying the program fee of the student(s)

The amount you will pledge is PKR 150,000 which will be paid back to IEC, either in
full or in flexible installments. If you choose to pay back in installments, you will be
paying 10% of your salary every month which will collectively count towards the
program fee of the student(s) you are sponsoring. However, if you receive financial
aid from the IEC during your learning phase then that amount is also expected to be
returned.

THIS AGREEMENT is entered into on the 10th of March 2022 BY AND BETWEEN
‘Institute of Emerging Careers’ hereinafter referred to as ‘IEC’ AND ‘Waseem Sajjad’,
with CNIC # 7130120463659 Student at Institute of Emerging Careers hereinafter
referred to as ‘Student.’

YOUR FINANCIAL AID AMOUNT: 108000

YOUR PROGRAM FEE: PKR 150,000
TOTAL PAYABLE: 258000

Please note that this amount may increase if your financial aid is approved and
in that case, this agreement will be null & void. The latest agreement (to be sent
later in case of Financial Aid) will be referred to for your payment details.

I. Duties of a Student & Rights of IEC

WHEREAS the student agrees to
● Be present in classes and diligently complete the course contents,
assignments and projects in a timely fashion.
● Be respectful and professional in conduct with colleagues, IEC team and
mentors.
● Report employment status and earnings to IEC monthly
● Pay back the pledge of Rs. 150,000 along with financial aid received from
IEC, in full or in installments, after you start earning 50,000 PKR or higher
on a monthly basis.

II. Duties of IEC & Rights of a Student

 WHEREAS IEC will be responsible for the following
● Assist in improving technical and soft skills through quality instructors,
learning management portal and learning resources.
● Provide access to the IEC network of mentors, alumni and board members
to help accelerate the placement process.

III. Post Graduation / Withdrawal / Dropped-Out

Our Finance team will be in touch with you regarding the mode of payment
through which you will support at least one IEC Fellow. However, please note that
● In case you withdraw yourself or you are dropped-out from the course by
IEC Team, you are required to pay Rs. 20,000 for each month you studied
at IEC.
● In case you are earning more than the threshold i.e. Rs. 50,000 per month
and still not sponsoring the IEC Fellow (either in full or installments), IEC
has the right to take legal action against you for the breach of this
contract.
● If you don’t have a job or you are earning less than the threshold i.e. Rs.
50,000 per month then you are exempted from payments.
● If you pay for 18 months, you will not need to pay for the 19th month on-
wards. This means that whatever comes first RS. 1,50,000 or 18 Months, that
will be applicable.
● You only pay if you get a job in the field relevant to your course at IEC and
you have to start paying back as soon as you get a job.
● You only have to pay if you get a relevant job in three years of your
graduation from IEC. If you get a job later than that, you don’t have to pay
anything.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Agreement the day and
year first above written and shall be interpreted under the laws of the Islamic Republic
of Pakistan.
