assistant equipment correctly.
These operating skills introduced here are the most basic. These and other skills will be generally
mastered as operators are deeply familiar with crusher and its technique.
The contents in this instruction are suitable to the condition when it is adapted, the manufacturer
has the right to stop producing some model crusher, change the technical data and product structure
at any time, not only not inform specially but also not assume any responsibility.
At any time,the question about the crusher and its instruction, please consult us, you will obtain
some new and useful information.
Be safety
The safety of the operators and other workers depends on their own carefulness and judgment
ability in the work. The careful operators can ensure the safety and avoid the accident.
Almost every accident mainly results from the insufficient observations and the half-hearted
precaution measurements. To most accidents, if we strength the recognition to the damages, and then
take corresponding precautions measurements, all of these are avoided.
Though we have carefully considered the safety problems when the machine is designed and
manufactured, there is still situation that can not be safe thoroughly in those places where do not
influence to reasonably approach and effectively operate. We have emphasized these situations by

The crusher can be widely used in the metallurgical industry, building industry, chemical industry
and so on it is utilized to crush the mineral and rock, such as ore, copper ore, limestone, quartz,
granite, sandstone, etc.

2. The structure of the machine

2.1 The composition and crushing principle


The machine is composed of main frame, countershaft, eccentric shaft, socket bearing, crushing
head, adjust device, bowl and so on. When the crusher works, the electric motor revolves eccentric
shaft by horizontal shaft and a couple of bear gear. The axle centre line do the rotary oscillation, this
make the surface of mantle sometimes close the surface of concave ,but sometimes leave, thereupon
the mineral is ceaselessly squeezed and circles to crush in the crushing chamber. The drawing NO.1

3. Attention

3.1 Refueling planes to be inspected weekly, export

size, and conform to production requirement.

3.4 The least thickness of mantle and concave is 20mm, otherwise

the machine will be broken.

measurements are very important to the safe operation. The instruction is not instead of the safety
standard, safety measurements and the relative rules and regulations.
The personal safety of the operators and repairers is crucial important. The instruction can be
supplied to the installation workers to use, indicate the possible problems in common work.
Familiar and grasp the technical requirements, precaution measurements and hidden peril of the
accident on the spot and talk about the kind of question with the managers are every operators, duty.
In order to prove safety, all of operator must familiar with safety operating rules.
The operators are the key element in the safety work, therefore they should study and grasp the
basic safety precaution measurements, in order to avoid the serious personal injuries and deaths and
property losses.
We must perish the hidden peril of the accident in its coming thing.
In order to remind the users, operators and the repairers, the instruction point out what is the
dangerous or risk operation by the “warn” form. The equipment safety depends on the operators,
elaborately operate and the grasp of the equipment capacity, they must obey the safety rules and
regulations thoroughly.
Do remember: In any circumstance, you are the safety key, good safety environment not only
protect the persons who around you, but also is your head guard. Please study and research the

Are you familiar with the work spot?
You should be familiar with the situation on the spot as more as possible in advance: please keep
the good work environment—clean floor, no oil spot, lip, waste things, wire line, iron link, rock piece

machines.
Know the floor load ability on the work spot.

your sight.

available tools very proficiently.

environment and special machines and supplementary precaution measurement.
You should check every thing prior to start.

The unprepared machine is not the safe one; please examine carefully when you accept the work.
If you have found the problems, but you also decide to keep the present situation, you should consider
it over and over again. Even the small machinery fault can also lead to personal injury, and equipment
accident.
1. Without approval operators can not to operate.
2. Make sure all guard and protection devices order, safe, without damage.
3. Check the oil conduit system: If the level is normal, and if exist leakage.
4. Check all oil drain plugs, valves, joints and be sure their safe and reliable.
5. Pressure losses produced by the low oil location can lead to serious hydraulic accidents.
6. The one of reasons of crusher shaft block accidents is short of lubricant.
7. Do not absolutely to get higher work pressure by adjusting the safety valve pressure, the
pressure data introduced by the factory is the longest date in the safest situation.
8. Do not absolutely to move the safety measurements freely.
9. Check through the visible fault of the crusher, such as: Leakage, wearing,
10. Check the machines according to the work manual book and the manager instructions
11. You should walk one time around the machine before starting, make sure there is not person at
the side, the below, the up of the machine. Please remind surrounded people before you starting.
Do notify every accident to manager.
Safe remind:
1. Check the machine as warning sign.
2. Do start according to the procedure illustrated by the instruction.

3. After starting the crusher, please check all devices and make sure all instrument are in normal
4. Please stop immediately when the indication is abnormal.
5. Test all controller functions.
6. Monitor and report every abnormal voice.

Report the machine fault

Safety stopping
If only make sure the crusher has stopped, you can clean, repair, lubricate, check the level of
opening and closing of the conveyor, move hydraulic system cover to repair, trying to clean chamber
etc. when the crusher is working, you must not check, adjust or repair.

Safety maintenance instruction

Please read and master
1. The installation instruction, especially the usage and operation
2. The maintenance and overhaul instruction.

5. The lubrication instruction o f maintenance and overhaul.
Warning sign
Before work inside the crusher, you must hang out the warding sign and cut off the electric
controller, in order to avoid other person to start the machine.

Hang out the warning sign can avoid the accident in the following cases:

1. The crusher can not operate safely


2. The controller is being maintained
3. The crusher is being repaired
Cut off the circuit
1. Before maintaining the crusher, you must cut off all electric controllers.
2. When repair station with hydraulic lock and adjusting device, please press the “STOP” button,
cut off the circuit to hydraulic station can make the motor stop.
Dungaree—safety protection measurement
1. Make sure your workers and dungaree keep a certain distance from those pieces, do not wear
loose wristband dress, do not make the belt below, do not wear watch and wristlet.
2. Please wear the protection glasses when you solve oil, detergent, lubricate oil or detent liquid,
since these matters can damage your eyes.
3. Please wear the respirator.

4. Please wear safety glasses when you drill, sander or hammer below the metals.
5. Please do not put thing it can drop into crusher in your pocket.
6. Please wear the safety cat and safety shoes.
7. Please wear protection gloves when you change wire line.
8. Please wear protection glasses and safety cat when you are using high pressure gas.
9. Please wear the goggle and safety dress when you pouring melt metals (zinc metal alloy,
Babbitt, lead...etc.)
10. Please wear the protection-ear tool or reduce time of exposing ear outlying while it is needed.
Forbid drink the beverage with alcohol and so on
1. Forbid drink the alcohol before or between work times.
2. Forbid take medicines which make you feel sleepy or lose vigilance.
1. Please keep room tidy, floor should be dry, no spot, i.e.
The oil and wet floor, footstep, handrail and so on are very smooth, so you should be quite careful.
In winter, you should pay attention to the ice and snow. If the spot is wet, especially it is closed the
electric machine is very dangerous.
2. Forbid put something on or surround the crusher.
3. Put the dangerous liquid in proper places, the person unauthorized does not approach, these
places forbid smoking.
4. Except ventilate well, otherwise forbid starting the diesel engine or the gasoline engine. The gas
was discharged can result in deaths.
Equipment
1. Using the suitable tools, wrench and utensils used the heavy pieces.
2. Keep all tools no spot, lubricating oil, lubricating grease, do not throw these tools.
3. Using crane hang large pieces, avoid move the heavy things by man.
4. Put the pieces down carefully, do not throw.
5. Run-up the oil spot on the each handle, avoid slipping.
6. Forbid using the spoke or pulley with crackle.
7. Please check the swag, break and wear situations of V- belt
8. Please check wore unqualified and lost pieces, and then changes them timely; keep the
machine clean without oil so that you can find these pieces.
9. Using the wire line to hang the heavy matters, please make sure the line specifications meet
requirements, and change wore, seriously broken or circled wire line, check the wore situation at the
starting.
Precaution fire risk
1. Do not smoking when you add oil or clean the oil box.
2. Do keep the funnel or charging connector and pouring orifice joined, and connected the ground,
avoiding the creation static electricity spark
3. Do not clean the pieces by gasoline or diesel oil, you should use high quality industrial
noninflammable belting agent.
4. Forbid smoking when you are using the cleans liquid.
5. Do not put greasy dirt or immerse oil articles in the bad-ventilated place please put them in safe
place.
6. Do not check the fuel, the places of cell liquid or coolant under the naked light. Please find out
the leaking point with the torch.
7. You should know where fire extinguisher is, how use it and which situation it is utilized.
Examine periodically whether (at least once every month) fire extinguisher on spot.

8. Hydraulic pressure or gas pressure system
1) Do exhausts all pressures before you open or dismantle hydraulic pressure or gas pressure
channel, valve and connector.

Transmission protection device

Cut off the electricity
At any time, if only the worker is working, you should cut off the electricity. Every maintenance
personnel should only have a key and his special tapered end. When he is working, lock the electricity
devices utilizing his own tapered end. The crucial is that tapered end only has a key, each person

Crane

should use the earmuff device. If the device does not solve the problem, you should consider reducing
the stay time of the workers or repairers that is to shorten of work time.
Though it is not workable from the economic opinion by changing the machine itself to reduce the
noise, many operators have found that building a cheap work room can reduce the noise. In the room,
the operator can see the machine which is working, but the against sound wall, double window and air
conditioner and so on can protect them against noise. The work facility must result in machine working
more effectively and reducing the potential noise damage.
Many operators in factory have found that build an operation tower above equipments, not only
can reduce noise harm, but also can raise the work efficiency.

5.3 Operation
5.3.1 Preparation before the crusher starts up
It is very useful for perennial well-running of crusher to have a benign check-up habit. Not only
restart depending on memory and the normal maintain once, but also do follow work before starting
and making exact note is needed to prolong life-span of crusher.
Preparation needed before the crusher starts up is as follows:
1.Firstly, check up whether the lubrication oil is correctly used and whether the lubrication system
is correctly installed.
Running the Oil pump firstly
2.Open the oil box and Check up whether the oil in the circling tube is circling. The oil drained
should account for half of total pipe at least, when it is running
3.At last, check up whether there are some appliances, facility obstacles and leak-oil in the
crusher, all the tie-in and fasten part have been tightened, and if exist factors disturbing start-up of the
crusher.
4.Turning the countershaft and check up whether the mantle and concave intervene in each other
and other obstacles.
5.Start up the crusher according to the procedure after all those check-up above.
The rotate speed of countershaft
The rotate speed of countershaft is very important to a normally running crusher. The size of
driven wheel is designed according to situation of full load. So, the rotate speed of countershaft without
load is a little higher than full load. It has been proved: when the countershaft is running at correct
rotate speed, we can get the most output and the even granularity of output.
The direction of the countershaft
The amount of crushed-stuff and the times of the stuff passing through the crusher are determined
by the rotate speed of countershaft. If the crusher can’t run at design speed, you must let crusher
run at a higher speed(within 5% more than designed speed) because the cumulate stuff in crusher
can lead crusher anchoring if the rotate speed of countershaft is very lower than design speed.
The direction of the countershaft is counter-clockwise.

5.3.2 The operation of crusher

3. Inspect rotating direction of drive shaft.
When face v-belt pulley, the pulley should go through the anti-clockwise rotation, only like this it
can guarantee locking mantle strength in crusher work, otherwise, if clockwise rotation can relax the
mantle.
4. Inspects the drive shaft rotational speed
If there is no oil in the fuel tank Of drain pipe, the revolution should not have to surpass two
minutes; otherwise can cause crusher major damage. In the normal condition, the oil discharged
system discharges the oil more than one half of the pipe at least.

5.3.3 Test run


Although the crusher has been tested in the factory, but when the primary start or new bearing
starts, it would better let the crusher revolve for several hours with no load or the light load, In order to
make the crusher entire machine to run gathers and confirm all parts’ function well, and also the
lubrication is good. Run gather period should closely pay attention to the oil temperature; the oil
temperature should not surpass 50 degree Celsius.

5.3.4 Seating adjustment


Crusher closed setting depends on particle size requirements. In most cases, we have adjusted so
that to adjust sets of liner of opening slightly less than the required size. Adjusted bow can be moved
with particle size l. Adjusting bowl to cover wearing of mantle and concave.
According to the necessary products to determine the initial size of discharge setting is not
necessarily the greatest yield the best arrangement mine setting. Mine setting of this arrangement

5.3.5 Bowl of adjustment

the liner blocks parallel, and then draw back rapidly, thus measure blocks thickness, make known
crusher close setting size. If necessary, re-adjust to get require setting. Do not check it with zinc
crusher, because zinc is not easy compression, would raise slightly, this data measured not allowed.

5.3.8 Thread lubrication


Because the bowl is adjusting part of crusher, in order to guarantee the bow turning freely, be sure
that thread of bowl and a supporting set lubricate regularly
A supporting ring of side or the top evenly cloth has grease fitting, in order to lubrication bowl and
supporting set of thread .
When the bowl is in the broken position and in the release of pressure position, should feed grease
to the fitting. Must formulate add grease regularly. Use lithium base resin or suitable resin, when
broken slag, slag and so on hot material, should use the thermos-resistent grease, with 5~10%
(volume)the molybdenum disulfide powder is good. Already discovered, when high-temperature
operation molybdenum disulfide powder and the lubricating oil mix with effect is also good.

5.3.9 Turning bowl


If you meet the difficulties when turning the bowl, the possible reason is the thread surface of
adjustment ring or bowl wear.
If the scratch or abrasion on whorl surface has already existed, for reduce more ramifications, you
can set up and take down the bowl by means as follows:
1 When you turn bowl, make the bowl float in the supporting ring with crane or other rising weight
tools, then make the bowl floating, move with push cylinder, in order to get require closed
setting .when move bowl up and down, make the bowl rotate a quarter circuit., to make sure the
bowl keep freedom station.
2 If you want to make bowl become less crowded in adjusting ring, sometimes you must enough.
But if you use one or several of mistake operations, it will be difficult to rotate the bowl in supporting
ring.
(1)When crush hot mine as slag or sinter mine, use improper lube.

means as follows.
(1)Lay down the bowl from the crush place in scheduled time
(2)Plus lubricate grease into the fitting on the side of adjustment ring,when the bowl in
adjustiment ring .set down a plan to maintain the fitting in scheduled time.
(3)Clean out thread and wipe lubricate grease before installing when you install or take down the
bowl at first time.
(4)Check wearing of the adjusting seal cover.
4. If the bowl is blocked in the adjustment ring and cannot use conventional method to rotate, you
may use the following method
(1) Make the bowl in release of pressure position, then make the crusher rotate and feed certain
material into crusher.
(2) Pour the penetrating oil or the antifreeze into the bowl screw, infiltrate the same solution into
the grease fitting of the adjustment ring, then this kind of penetrating oil or the antifreeze can penetrate
into the screw gap, cause the plugged up dirt and rust to loose.
5. Make sure the attrition situation of liner plate

5.3.10 The clean of the crusher

5.3.11 The lubrication system


The crusher continuous works under the heavy load condition for a long time, the pressure of the
rubbed part is very big, therefore the lubrication system is extremely important to the crusher normally
works, the main reason of most machine bushing and so on to be burned out is bad lubrication. Please
carefully read the attached thin oil station instruction before utilizing the lubrication system.

In this system, the lubricating oil enters into oil cavity, through the oil pump; the lubricating oil
enters into the filter under the pressure. If the filter is jamed, the lubricating oil may turn on the bypass
cut-off valve, passes from the filter bypass. The pressure gauge is utilized to inspect the filter pressure
drop, then according to the data to make sure whether it is needed to clean or replacement. The
flowing oil directly crosses the heat interchanger which is chilled by the circulating water or air. When
oil temperature becomes low, the viscosity increases and the pressure rises, please turn on the cut-off
valve to make the lubricating oil rounds cooler. The thermometer of the cooler both sides may inspect
the oil temperature direct-viewing. The main safety valve function is to prevent the super-pressure oil
entering into the crusher, simultaneously plays the protective function to the oil pump. When the oil
pressure excessively high, the safety valve opens, it causes part of oils to return to the tank from the
bypass, other oils enter into the bottom of crusher directly. The pressure oil is forced to penetrate into
the bearing surface between the main shaft and the eccentric bushing and the eccentric outside
surface, and then overflows to the main gear. At the same time the pressure oil is pressed into the hole
of the main shaft center, flows to the socket linner surface through the slanting hole in the head. The oil
flows out from socket liner flows to the main gear, and then it is discharged.
In order to carry on the automatic safety protection, there are pressure switch, the temperature
switch and the oil stream switch in the lubrication system. When it is necessary, these switches may
cause the crusher to stop or send out a warning. This system supplying oil pressure should be in the
0.06-0.12MPa scope, the oil returned temperature does not surpass 50 degrees Celsius when it is
idling, the oil returned temperature does not surpass 55 degrees Celsius when it is load.
This system prevents the crusher being too heat, you can examine the oil temperature difference
through the thermometer installed in the export-import oil tank, if it is oversized, and the reason is very
possible that causes the crusher bushing damaged.
The lubrication equipment utilized in the machine
The equipment is utilized to supply the lubrication medium by the circulation style; it delivers
the medium to the lubrication position of the equipment. After lubricating and chilling, the medium
returns the oil tank to next circulation.

b.1 No-load test: Turns on the safety valve, open the closed setting to be biggest, closes the oil
expert valve, starts any electrical machinery which make installment running under no-load ,it should
running for 10~20mins under steady condition without abnormal vibrates and the noise.
b.2 Compression test, after the no-load test is qualified, gradually closes the safety valve’s row,
gradually increase pressure to level 0.9MPa (is 1.5 times to nominal pressures) keep the pressure for
10 minutes. Then, falls to 0.6MPa nominal pressure, and the comprehensive inspection should be
carried on, compression test ,it is qualified when system could run for 10~30mins without leakage,
after it is qualified ,the pressure should reduces to no-load pressure.
b.3 If there is abnormal condition in those test, it should be reduce to no-load pressure and Repair
after shut off .after repair, recycle test till it is qualified.
b.4 After compression test, shut off pump
b.5 security pressure: After the compression test is qualified, gradually closes the safety valve’s
row, till the pressure rises to 0.6MPa, opens self-circulation valve, pressure of the leaves plant is
0.6Mpa.
b.6 Adjusting parameter of the pressure controller, the differential pressure controller, the
temperature controller leaves the plant

starts oil pump in the thermal process, so that oil could be heat evenly.
c.4 system actual working pressure setting
When the oil temperature reached 27 ~ 40 ℃, opens each valve of lubrication point , then open
expert oil valve, closes self-circle row valve, according to the need of lubrication point, each
former-valve of lubrication point should be adjusted, so that the lubricating oil could equally divided to
the each lubrication point, meanwhile pressure data of place where oil should not be smaller than
0.10 ~0.13MPa.
c.5 after determined the oil work pressure, pumps actual expert pressure also should be
determined, and remembers these two data.
c.5.1 Actual security pressure of system
Compare with the practical work pressure data of expert pumps, the system actual security
pressure data is 0.1MPa higher than it, concretely, gradually closes the expert valve and turns on the

control principle.

1. When the oil pump working well, press the starting button of crusher, SD1 red light will be on,
when the crusher is in star starting style .after about 60s, SD1 green light on, the crusher is in triangle
style.

tank at upper limit, low limit, exceed pressure difference, through KA3 relief contact close,HD2 light
bright on at same time, buzzer set out alarm, inform need take safety measurement.
3. When pressure is lower, or oil currency is lower, or the temperature of oil is higher, KA4 closed
contact open, crusher stop work, SD2 red light bright,
4. When the crusher is overloading, the crusher hot relay FR1 closed contact will open, the reliefed
jcontact will close, the crusher dose not work, meanwhile the red light of the sd2 is bright . outside alert
light alarm.
In the main engine a KM3 auxiliary contact (101-103) directs to terminal, (provides main crusher
work signal) for the external circuit interconnection.

Products operating attention.

If there have breakdown in operating, you should first shut off two times control loop circuit power,
