discontinuation date.

The feature is supported for the Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Replenishment Planning, and Sales & Operations
Planning work areas.

This feature benefits your business by facilitating better decision making for planners by providing insight into date type exceptions in the supply chain.
For example, you can now create an exception where you can capture the items with an erroneously defined discontinuation date that is earlier than the
launch date.

It also improves the user experience when the number of exceptions are of Date type measures.

Managing your plans by exceptions with more flexibility because you can define your own date conditions to be evaluated.

If a Date type measure-based exception is created, then you will be able to define the threshold with Date Value.

If a Date type measure-based exception is created, then the measure under the threshold tab shows only the date type measures. For example, the
“Forecast Start Date before Launch Date” exception should be defined as shown here where Base Measure = Forecast Start Date, Operation = Before
and Threshold = Product Launch Date.

• Supply Chain Planner,

• Demand Planner,

• Demand and Supply Planner,

• Replenishment Planner, and

• Sales and Operations Planner.Materials Planner role is common for all the work areas.

The business processes associated with this feature are Manage Supply Planning, Manage Integrated Demand and Supply Planning.
