1. Introduce yourself (Tell me a little bit about yourself, your academic background etc.)
ANS: Hii, my name is Nikhil Arora I am Punjab and I have cleared my +2 in 2021 with an
aggregate marks of 70%. Furthermore, I am pursuing my Computer system technician course in
Canada in Alpha college. Here in Canada, my aim to be a software engineer because I have keen
interest in learning about computers as well as in cyber security field. Righ now I am in my 3rd
semester after completing my diplome I am looking forward to be enrolled in computer science
course which will open new doors of opportunity for me. In India , I have some experience in
corporate field where I use to work in a company named Kochar. Talking about my hobbies, I
love to read in my free time I always to read some knowledgeable book.

2. Why did you choose this area/program of study?

ANS: The main reason to choose this program of study is its benefits outweigh the
disadvantages, talking about job market in 2020, the median annuage wage for software
developer (which include software engineers) that was $110,000. In tech industry particularly
in regions such as Silicon Valley or other technology hubs, salaries for software engineers can be
significantly higher due to factors like the cost of living and demand for talent. Talking about my
experience, I have quite good knowledge about computers and corporate field which will help
me in future.

3. What will a potential employer find attractive about your current or past
accomplishments and/or education?
ANS: Relevance: Employers often value accomplishments and education that directly relate to
the job or industry. Problem-solving abilities: Employers appreciate candidates who have a track
record of effectively solving problems. Highlighting accomplishments that showcase your ability
to identify challenges.these quite I am already practicing In mu current job.

1. RESPONSIBLE:

SITUATION: Our company was experiencing a significant decrease in customer satisfaction

ratings.

TASK: As a customer service representative, I was responsible for addressing customer

concerns and finding solutions to improve their satisfaction levels.

ACTION: I proactively reviewed customer feedback data, identified recurring issues, and
collaborated with the product development team to propose improvements to our product
features. Additionally, I took the initiative to conduct customer satisfaction surveys to gather
more specific feedback and understand pain points

RESULT: As a result, customers satisfaction rate went upto 30% with in 5 months. Moreover
customers are highly satisfied with our customer support and services.
 2. DEPENDABLE:

SITUATION: In my Store , at night a lot of customers visit to have but our store mangers need
an quick persor who can take order quickly and give them to the customers

TASK: My specific job is to take order quickly manage trainee who are working on front area
with me and also I have responsibility to help them if there is any issue made by them or by
customers.

ACTION: To demonstrate, dependability I put two of my trainee on the tills where there is no
mess in taking orders , where as I put myself in the position of running the orders where most of
the problem occur because at that point in front of 50 to 60 people we cannot make any issue or
pass any wrong order. So , we are short staff on that day where only 3 person n front including
me. Same as in the kitchen there are 3 person , so we need at least 4 on each side but I took that
responsibility and I did running as well as helping them in making orders and managing orders
on front simuntaneously.

RESULT: As a result , we did a great job I surprised my manger with my speed and the ability
to mange and making orders on the same time.Due to which our area manger was happy and
praised me as well. We made 15% more sales on that with short staff which was a big deal itself.

3. COMMUNICATION:

SITUATION: Working on front requires good communication skills where I have to

communicate with people about anything relating to orders which helps in increasing customer
service

TASK: Where I am working there mostly people are Canadian , Americans , Mexicans and
people fro India there is a big task to talk with people fluently. Where I have to understand what
they are trying to say. Because when I punch an order then at kitchen they start making it so I
have to careful what I am listening and what I am trying to conduct to my staff
ACTION: As we need good skills in communication , at my home as well as I try to talk as
much as possible in English which helps in clearning concepts and making my English fluent. So
in this way I accomplish my task to be good enough to talk with foreigners and help them in their
orders.

RESULT: Now on front if we are just 4 people on a shift 3 person can easily work in kitchen
they do not have to come on front to help me in communicating or managing customers. This
helps our area manager because they do not put extra person which reduces labour as well I help
them in providing good customer service.

4. HONEST:

SITUATION: I am also working in pret manger which a London brand, where I have to make
take payment from customers and provide them their goods.

TASK: As an honest staff, I have to collect payment and gave back change to customers,
without making any mistake because money is the first thing that people love the most
so I have to be careful regarding their transactions.

ACTION: recently I was working normally a person came over there and placed his order but by
mistake I charged him $5 extra oh his order of $150 , I have not noticed on the very first place
then the customer checked and said you charged me extra for my order the was very angry
because of extra $5 that I charged him. First of all, I said sorry to him that this mistake happen by
me , but he is not ready listen to any word then my manager came and refunded his $5 back and
he did not said anything to me because I am working over there from past year and I never did
anything wrong to any of customers. Because of clean record manager trust me and said I trust
you.
RESULT: as a result, I got to know how much my manger and my staff trust me. People over
are watching what just happened because no one helps their staff this much but because of my
Honest working they helped in that transactions.

5. CALCULATION:

SITUATION: I was given the task of conducting tests to calculate the acceleration caused by
gravity as a student in a physics lab.

TASK: My task was to calculate the acceleration due to gravity using the measurements
obtained from a pendulum experiment.

ACTION: To calculate the acceleration due to gravity, I measured the length of the pendulum
and recorded the time it took for the pendulum to complete one full swing (period). I repeated the
experiment multiple times to ensure accuracy. Using the measured values, I applied the formula
for the period of a pendulum to calculate the acceleration due to gravity. I also took into account
any sources of error and applied appropriate corrections to the calculations.

RESULT: Based on my calculations, the acceleration due to gravity was determined to be

approximately 9.8 m/s², which aligned with the accepted value. I documented my methodology
and results in a laboratory report, highlighting the accuracy of my calculations and the rigorous
approach I took in the experiment. My findings were well-received by the lab instructor,
demonstrating my competence in performing calculations and understanding the principles of
physics.

5. What is your biggest career aspiration (now or for future)?

ANS=> My biggest aspiration is to become a software engineer and to be good as well as in
cyber security field, my main inspiration is father and my uncle . My father is government
employee in electrictian field he is too good in his field he trained a lot of people in his life but
no one achieved his level of knowledge so father is idol in hardworking and knowledge where
my uncle in software engineer where is living good life because of his hard work and study. So
therse people are my inspiration they daily motivates in achieving my dreams. In future I will
also take their suggestion in future to achieve my dreams.
