Guidance:
1. Read the Performance Management Policy before you start using this template.
2. Use your Job Description (JD) to ensure you are clear about your responsibilities and the required competencies for your job.
3. Based on the JD, set between three and five SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-related) objectives for the year ahead.
4. Link relevant competencies from the JD to each of the objectives.
5. When relevant, at least one objectives should be linked to the goals/strategy.
6. The performance and development plan shall be reviewed and updated during performance review session.
