Assignment for Research Methods (Group Assignment)
1) If you want t to undertake a research on the following two issues :
I) “ Women participation in Politics”
II) “Environmental impact of urban living”
A) What could be your research topics?
B) What sort of issues should be addresses in defining the problems?
C) Discuss the data you need for this research and how you are going to collect it.
D) If Educational Level of female and male dominance are the two variables which you suspect
to have relations with your subject in the first issue. State your hypothesis in all the four
forms.
E) Identify two variables which might be important in the second issue and formulate
hypothesis in all the four forms.
2) Would it be appropriate to draw your sample only from AASTU students to study the incidence
of seasonal flu in Addis Ababa? Why?
