Overview:

We propose a "Short Research Paper Competition" on environmental issues, with the theme of
water and wastewater, solid waste, and air pollution. The event will provide a platform for
researchers, academics, and professionals to submit and present their short papers, promoting
research and discussion on environmental issues and solutions.

Total Budget: ₹3,500

Objectives:

The objectives of the event are as follows:

To encourage research and discussion on environmental issues and solutions

To provide a platform for researchers, academics, and professionals to showcase their work and
exchange ideas

To contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions for environmental

challenges

Venue:

The competition will take place in a classroom, and any necessary venue setup costs will be covered
by the organizing committee.

Registration cost: 100 per team of two.

Team Composition:

Each team will consist of two participants, who can be from the same or different institutions.

Prize Money:

The prize money for the competition will be as follows:

First prize: 2000

Second prize: 1000

Third prize: 500

Competition Rounds:

The competition will be held in two rounds as follows:

First round:

Top 10 Selection: This round will select the top 10 submissions from all the registered teams. Each
team will have closed door presentation in front of 2 member jury

Final Round

Final presentation : The entire team will be given 10 minutes to present their research paper in
front of a panel of judges and audience

The competition will be held on 2nd Day of Vidyut

Duration : 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

Judging Criteria:

The short papers will be judged based on the following criteria:

Relevance to the theme

Originality and innovation

Clarity and coherence of presentation

Quality of research and analysis

Potential impact on the environment
