Proposal for "Pitch an Idea: Sustainability" Event

Overview: Our proposal is to host a "Pitch an Idea: Sustainability" event during the college fest,
which will provide a platform for college students to present their business ideas related to
sustainability and receive feedback from a panel of experienced entrepreneurs. This event will be an
excellent opportunity for college students to showcase their creativity and contribute towards a
sustainable future.

Theme: Sustainable development goals related to Environment


SDG 6: Clean water and sanitation

SDG 13 : Climate action

SDG 14 : Life below water

SDG 15 : Life on Land

Total Budget: ₹3,500


Objectives: The objectives of the "Pitch an Idea: Sustainability" event are as follows:

To encourage the development of innovative and sustainable business solutions among college
students.

To provide a platform for college students to showcase their sustainability-related business ideas.

To provide an opportunity for aspiring student entrepreneurs to receive feedback and advice from
experienced entrepreneurs in the sustainability sector.

To facilitate networking and collaboration among college students and companies in the
sustainability industry.

Venue: The event can be held in any hall or conference hall available during the college fest.

Registration: The registration fee for a team of two will be 200 rupee

Duration: 1:30 – 5:30 PM

Cost: The setup costs will include the expenses for the prize distribution and certificate.

Prize Money: The prize money for the "Pitch an Idea: Sustainability" event will be 2000 for the first
prize, 1000 for the second prize, and 500 for the third prize. Each team should consist of two
members.
Timeline: The "Pitch an Idea: Sustainability" event can be held on the first day of the college fest.
The event will start in the morning and continue until the afternoon. The event can be divided into
two rounds - the preliminary round , and final round.

Preliminary Round: In the preliminary round, each team will be given five minutes to pitch their
business idea to the panel of judges. The judges will evaluate the ideas based on their sustainability,
feasibility, and innovation.

Final Round: The top 5 teams from the preliminary round will move to the final round. In this round,
each team will be given ten minutes to present their idea in more detail, including their prototype or
demo, if possible business model and marketing strategy if any.

to showcase their business ideas related to sustainability and receive valuable feedback from
experienced entrepreneurs. The event will not only promote innovation and sustainability but also
