Introduction:

Auto CAD: Automatically Computer Aided Design & Drafting.

Computer Aided Design (CAD) has become a significant and necessary subject in the modern
engineering industry. It is almost impossible to think of any engineering project without involving this
technology. Moreover all engineers, designers, draftsman are expected to demonstrate relevant knowledge
and skill in CAD besides his field of specialization. A heart full of gratitude to the creator of Auto CAD:
CAROL BARTZ is the CEO of AutoDesk. Inc. USA.

Today this technology has provided us the power to build sophisticated 2D & 3D objects on the computer
screen and visualize the model that we are dreaming of. So that Auto CAD Foundation Course has been
organized specially for the Bangladeshi peoples to face at any job placement country to upgrade their
career and living standard which is authorized by the Bangladesh Technical Educational Board. And for
this special thanks to the Auto Desk. Inc. USA and Envision Institute of Design & Technology (EIDT),
Bangladesh.

Objectives:
To develop the basic skill with Auto CAD:
¾ In Building and Architectural Drafting
¾ In Structural Drafting
¾ In Electrical Drafting
¾ In Mechanical Drafting
¾ In Fabrication Design
¾ In Interior- Exterior Design
¾ In Sanitary design
With any technical, fashionable design with creativity can perform drawing details of these components
with Auto CAD.

TRAINING STRATEGIES
The delivery of training should adhere to the design of the curriculum. Delivery should be guided
by the 10 basic principles of the competency-based TVET.
• The training is based on curriculum developed from the competency standards;
• Learning is modular in its structure;
• Training delivery is individualized and self-paced;
• Training is based on work that must be performed;
• Training materials are directly related to the competency standards and the curriculum modules;
• Assessment is based in the collection of evidence of the performance of work to the industry
required standard;
• Training is based both on and off-the-job components;
• Allows for recognition of prior learning (RPL) or current competencies;
• Training allows for multiple entry level qualification (minimum SSC)
• Approved training programs are nationally accredited.
