1. What are the different perspectives of youth when it comes to pornography?

For me, as a graphic artist, I consider pornography as something that reveals your inner self. It is
something to do with art…Kasi even when you show nude, bold or something daring, for as long as wala
ka may gina argabyado, and your purpose is for art and entertainment. I don’t find it something to think
negatively.

1. What are your thoughts about the word “pornography”?
I think for me, pornography is something to do with the capacity of an individual to depicts reasonable
and great art with what he/she have. Kasi if we try to look at it, pornography is everywhere, for me, I
think it is only our subconscious mind that tells us not to engage with it, coz it is something bad. But for
me, I don’t consider it bad due to the nature of the line of my expertise. Alam mo yun, it is the feeling
that it is something that might arouse your mind to think and to imagine coz this pornography is
something to do with arts and creative minds.

2. How can you consider graphics to depict pornography?

I think, graphics will depict pornography if it has something to deal with the creative mind of an
individual that will showcase how great and how good was their imagination. Alam mo yun? It’s the
feeling that it might arouse you probably physically, mentally, morally, or even spiritually. Kasi again for
me it has something to do with art and I don’t think that art is something to do with the bad side. Unless
otherwise that we considered art as an immoral thing. Pero for me kasi, basta makita mo na yung
graphics na something to do with the human body and tap your imagination, regardless of the
appearance, I can consider it as pornography.

3. When and how can we consider pornography as explicit media? Or nudity as an art?
Purely explicit media sya siguro kung Nakita ko nag graphics nga kalaw ay man gid tulukon kag daw wala
man sang message or concept. Although it is difficult to read sometimes between the lines kay may ara
kita nga mga graphics artist nga sari sari man yah sang interpretation kag paghatag sang meaning sa
word nga pornography specifically kung mahamabal nga ara na sya mismo sa explicit media… or puro
nga explicit media. Kasi sometimes nudity can be an explicit media also but sometimes can be
considered as an art…Syempre lalaki man ako ang I belief that we have the what we called “fetish”. So if
certain media awakens my fetish already, that’s the time nga maging explicit media na ang pornography
–ammm…. But that is only on my part. Pero in some, for sure lain man na yah. Tapos usually for me I
always consider it as an art specially if it has nothing to do with my “fetish” or “desire”. Knowing that
there are lots of graphics nga nagatululuhaw lang gulp isa imo screen while navigating your different
social media account. For as long as your purpose is for entertainment or expression. There is nothing
wrong with it.

4. What are your opinions on the different graphical media platforms that display pornography based on
your concept?
For me, siguro bisan pa maghublas or mag nude pa dira ang isa ka tawo, tapos e butang sya sa graphics
kag ang purpose nya is purely for entertainment or simply because that is her/his way to express
him/herself, ok lang na yah kay anyway, yes, it is us who judge their thoughts and actions but para sa ila
yah, there’s nothing wrong with it…Diba? Then who are we to think it like that? Like if I know to myself
that my purpose is good and what I am doing is morally upright on my part, then why should I care with
what others will say? Kasi sometimes, we tend to pretend nga we live in a life full of simple things, far
from the edge of the blade sang society nga kung diin damo ang mga mata nga judgemental. Mga
judgement bala nga naka base man yah sa ila nga mga standards, T mag amo sina, indi kita yah mabuhi
sa life nga gusto naton. I think we should always remember that life is too short just to wake up with lots
of regrets. T kung gintagaan ka yah sang maayo nga physical nga lawas nga pwedi mo e pakita para
maka inspire or maka encourage sang iban, then who am I to tell you nga malain na imo gina ubra di
bala?

5. How often do you see pornography on social media since last week?
Sa akon mam, I think halos everyday yah nakakakita ako sang pornography sa social media. Syempre, sa
akon yah, again, I considered it as an art. T as long as I can see something which arouse me or something
which depicts art using their body, I considered it as pornography kag amo na ang adlaw adlaw ko nga
nakikita. Everyday more than 10 ako mag bukas sang akon account, sa pagbukas ko sang akon account
even sa fb nalang, I can see a lot of pornographic media. Coz that is the trend, that is the art, that is
something that these generations should be proud of.
