Programme 1: Understanding Malaysia
Our programme is specifically designed for international students who are
interested in learning the Malay language and understanding Malaysian
culture! Throughout the week, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of
Malay vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, writing skills & cultural studies.

Our interactive activities and exercises provide ample opportunities for you
to practice what you have learned. You'll be equipped with knowledge in
Malay language and culture that establishes a solid foundation, enabling you
to confidently engage with Malaysian cultures and communities.

Programme 2: Discovering Malaysia
Our programme offers a unique and exceptional chance for students to
immerse themselves in the vibrant and diverse culture of Malaysia while
expanding their knowledge.

Through a variety of activities such as cultural workshops, history lessons,

as well as visits to significant cultural and historical sites, you can gain a
profound understanding and appreciation of Malaysian customs,

Witness the beauty of the old and new in the

Pearl of the Orient, Penang. The island of Penang
is linked to Peninsular Malaysia by the longest
bridges in Asia, the iconic Penang Bridge. Its
capital, George Town, is a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. Penang is also well-known for its
variety of mouth-watering food, ranging from
Malay, Chinese, Nyonya to Western cuisines.
Options to explore the beauty of Penang is
available to students. Travel from 29 - 30 July
2023 (for students in Intake 1) or 19 - 20 August
2023 (for students in Intake 2). Optional travel
packages for Penang is available upon request
