3205213 - Accounting document is not being created in transaction code J1AZ with 'Don't post to MM' flag checked
in the Inflation Method

Symptom
In the customizing activity Maintain Inflation Methods (view J_1AINFMEV), it is configured the Inflation Accounting for Materials Management (MM) and it is checked the Don't post to
MM flag (J_1AMMDAC field). During the execution of transaction code J1AZ (MM index adjustment program), the Replacement Cost Valuation (Inflation Index Adjustment) is not
posting the price changes for General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL).

Cause
This case is caused by a missing configuration in the customizing activity Maintain Inflation Methods.

Resolution
As explained in the SAP Help Portal page Replacement-Cost Valuation Programs, if the system is to post a replacement cost resulting from Market Price Determination or Inflation
Index Adjustment as a price change, the appropriate indicator must be set in the inflation method. Therefore, the flag Post Repl. Cost (J_1APORECO field) must also be checked in
the customizing activity Maintain Inflation Methods.

With this, the materials in the selected Valuation Areas (Plants) during the execution of transaction code J1AZ, the value which will be changed is the Replacement Cost field,
however, since the flag "Don't Post to MM" is checked, the standard price of the materials will not be changed. As mentioned in the documentation of the J_1AMMDAC field ("Don't
Post to MM" flag), it just posts the price change to General Ledger Accounting (FI-GL), only creating an accounting document to debit the inflation adjustment account and credit the
general ledger account, updating the Replacement Cost field of the material.
